Is this the model that is known as a V35 infinity in the states? Therefore would be badged as a Skyline? or am I barking up the wrong tree?

Thanks Daniel,, I did put a switch in and wired it to the power steering mount bolt, then I taped it all to the harness so that you can only just see the switch hiding behind the air box,, I will endevour to play around with some sort of bleed valve arrangement and wire in a relay so that it can be switched from factory boost controlled,,to factory maximum boost and also to have a bleed valve arrangement as well (three way switch),,,I will post the results when I'm done,,, cheers John

Thanks Daniel,, I bypassed the controller and it spiked (just after the computer confused itself and then re-mapped of course) so I put the controller back into the loop,, it still only goes to right on half way, so I'm guessing that either the gauge is dodgey or the actuator is not quite right,, might just make up a bleed valve and have a play,, cheers John

Yer I checked it all,, the solenoid is functioning and is clear,,, it was the same before I did the mod,, only getting half way on the gauge,,, anything else that could cuause this problem? cheers

Hey guy's,, I just did the mod to run max boost all the time on my 33,, I wasn't getting anything more than .35 Bar and still don't now,, the solenoid works and is clear,, is that all the boost I'm gonna get?,, I thought it should go higher? car is stock save for a 3 inch high flow cat and Nismo cat back,, any suggestions for a newbie please? cheers

Hey guys,, just did this mod and am confused as to what my stock boost gauge should read,, The solenoid is operating (I put in a switch,, but the boost gauge only gos to .35,,is that right? I thought I should get more than that,, car is completely stock except for 3 inch high flow cat and nismo exhaust,, Is there something wrong or is that all I can expect without spending some coin? cheers, John

No true dude,, I am a mechanic and have worked in the rental car industry for years,, I can tell wear and tear, and this car is for real,, also under the bonnet is dusty and never washed,, it still has paper tags qith jap writing on the wiring harness,, it drives like new and feels the same,, I was very lucky EDIT,, whoops, this reply went in the wrong possi,, forgive me I'm new,, cheers

I picked up a 95 series 1 with a genuine 48 000K's,, stock,, I also got a 3 inch pollished stainless Nismo exhaust with carbon fibre tip,, a new front mount,, a set of 17 inch Volks racing GTP's,, side skirts,, strut brace,, and a new stainless 3 inch high flow cat,,an extra front bar (dunno what type) a set of perfect series 2 front seats and got all that for 16.5 K,, got it from an importer over at moorooka Qld.. cheers
