clutch might have been replaced cause the owner wanted to upgrade the clutch, looks a nice car. Clutch might have been sliping. got some good good bolt ons. i'd say it's worth around 22-23. hard to tell with out hearing it, and seeing it. Photos dont tell the whole truth. recaro setas, blits cooler, hks exhaust, nice rims, kit, extras. i'd say its worth its money. considering stock r33's are what around 17 to 18 grand. there would be around 6 to 7 grand worth of mods you'd think.

at the moment i can only comment on what it was like to go from a 1.8 litre silvia turbo, into a r33 gts-t. The silvia was fast when on boost, but when off had nothing. I found the r33's have heaps torque compared to the 1.8. When i am finished putting the rb25det in the silvia, i think it will feel a lot quicker than both. I have never been in one, but i am dieing to get it going. what i been told is that the car after the conversion just love wheelspin. So light in the arse end, and with more torque, and bigger hp is just a handfull to drive. but i shell know when i get it going. But i actually like r33's more for there ride too, smooth, handles well, etc. i think my car now weighs in at around 1300 kg's so i been told. and distribution has switched from 48 % at front to 52 % at back, too 52 % at front to 48 % at back. anyways, i'd go the r33 if i had another chance. more potential, plus easy to mod.

hey, am undecided on whether to go for bosch 040, or just buy a stock r33 pump. My mods are aswell follows for the rb25det motor. custom inlet plenum (front facing) new dump pipi with seperate waste gate pipe re joined this time front mount intercooler rampod hks hi power exhaust from cat back hi flow cat 3 inch front pipe 3 inch maybe 12psi boost on high setting. (stock turbo though so..) 5 puk brass button clutch am running ngk iridium plugs. I'd imagine this would make somewhere around the 180rwkw mark at most, going off what other guys are doing. is the stock fuel pump ok for this. i dont know as i never had a skyline before. WHat are the stock r33 ones rated at. if anyone could let me know would be great. either if i can go the r33 stock pump, or maybe just go for something a little bigger. its for the intank silvia fuel set up. cheers

hey, i got a flywheel lined up, now i just need the clutch. heard good things about the daiken exceddy 5 puk brass button. heard the daiken full faced wheres out a bit to easy, and not good for a heap of power. so yeah, if you can get the daiken exceddy clutches at a good price let me know, in melb please. cheers.

hey, either need to sell the r33 auto box, or buy the r33 flywheel, and clutch. For the rb25det. flywheel needs to be in reasonable condition, and if the clutch is standard will probly have to get rebuilt anyways, but not fussed. just need to get the flywheel and clutch in the car, and clearout the auto box. i think its a reasonable swap. loacted in melb. thanks

hey, i am after a r33 flywheel and clutch. can be standard not real fussed (something that i can reco, or has been recoed). need pressure plate aswell, just so i can get my car on the road. cheers. in melb.

so how do you do this, get a special card, and disconnect your foxtel for 20 minutes. sounds a bit dodgey.

hey, well i looked into getting a skyline but i ended up getting a silvia instead, a 1.8 litre turbo. Was ok, but got bored with it. i was going to sell it, but then i thought of the rb25det engine conversion. Just cars say any mods are allowed. So putting the rb25det into the silvia is just a mod. I would pay the same for a 1.8 litre turbo, as for the rb25det. Makes me wish i bought the 1.8 litre non turbo silvia. i think full comp is still like $2000+ plus, and third party fire and theft was $800. thats rating 6 though, so.....

that corolla with the big 8 would be around 1000 kg's i'd imagine. power to weight it would have the edge over most street cars. gtr-34 what mods you got done to your beast. i saw you drive through the tunnel and take off up the first straight. very nice, and you did get cheers when you won, but you also got cheers when you lost. hehe. cars looks mad though, and if you dont mind telling us, how fast did you get up the main straight, you over took most people from what i could see.

it sits to high and hits my bonnet. that was the r33 one.

after a radiator which will fit in the silvia front without being to big and bulky, but will be able to cool the rb25det motor, and have thermos attached. anyone got a radiator, or no if the silvia radiators are ok to use, with the 2.5 litre over the 2 litre. cheers. p.s r33 radiators are too tall, what else could i use.

need to sell r33 turbo auto gearbox $280 brand new sheepdog bov $250 r33 turbo front discs $140 for both or will swap any of the items for a good radiator which will fit in S13 front, and a good thermo fan (thin 12 inch). i am in melb. cheers

they dont do times at the easternats, just one on one racing. loser goes home sort of thing. hard to tell what it placed, but i'd imagine top ten, cause the final was not long after it lost

hey, i saw your car BIGPSI, was yours the auto one. i saw one from the tower as it drove into the track with a pro ratchet shifter. very nice. that r34 gtr went ok to, finished in top 10 or so i think. i thought that white r33 was pretty nice too, popped pretty loud between gear changes (is that running rich). Got kicked out in early drag rounds, but was up against a quick old school car i think. was a good day but not many 33's. (sunday i went). And didn;t see one S13 , weak......

yeah, i just got it out of the car. had some hassels with that. 5 speeds are heaps better but if u aren't looking to spend heaps then the auto aint too bad to stick with for the price comparison. still for sale by the way
