  1. Maybe you can point out to the rest of us where the funny bits are. If your idea of funny is stereotyping minority groups, you're stuck in the 70s. WAKE UP!!!
  2. Agreed. These ones go into the overboard category.
  3. The late night cruise was fantastic Was too foggy around Mount Lofty but was very clear when we got to Montacute Road. We lost a heap of cars around Mount Lofty, I can only assume they prefer hanging around in carparks than cruising. Made it to the first meeting spot where we were waiting for the rest of the cars to turn up. Then some tool in a ford ute started doing donuts, so we all got out of there. Lost a few more cars due to that. by the end of the cruise there were no skylines in sight, only an STI and 2 EVOs
  4. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Speed_limit
  5. ^^^^^ That's a great idea How about a peaceful protest. We can all sit of 40km/h and watch the traffic back up. If traffic is reduced to 40 across Adelaide, they wont be raising much revenue. But then again, they'll probably just reduce the speed limit to 30 and give us the "Speed Kills" crap again.
  6. I can't believe your attitude. You could have killed someone and all you care about is whether or not you have to pick up the bill. If you're doing double the speed limit, you are morally responsible for anything that goes wrong.
  7. It looks like the service station was having a donut sale
  8. What would happen if all of our cruises were run 20kms under the speed limit. Apart from being shit boring what else would happen?
  9. We sure do. There are also other loans that are available for investors. Need to pick a loan that will suit your current and future needs. Give me a call w 8232 4001 ask for Dan, if I'm not there, leave a message and I'll call you back
  10. Call anytime mate, I'll still be there.
  11. Andrew (Nightcrawler) knows his stuff, this is what he does for a living. He is the go to man when I have property/market questions.
  12. I can get great deals on 100% finance. (loan = 100% of house purchase price) you still need to come up with the enough to cover the other costs, such as government charges and mortgage insurance. If you get a first home owners grant, that will cover a lot of it, but it depends on how much you want to spend on a place. I'm more than happy to discuss how much you need to save (if any) to purchase a property. Give me a call and mention that you are from SAU Dan 0413 135 167 Wizard Home Loans (Adelaide Branch)
  13. If you could just let me know when the next boom will be, that will be great
  14. By the time you hear in the media that interest rates might go up, the banks have already increased their fixed rates. It's a personal choice whether to fix or go variable.
  15. Brendan The best advice I can give you is to take your own advice. The scenario you've put forward sounds good and it sounds right for you at this time. You've done very well so far and it's OK to sit back and enjoy it for a while. I run the Wizard Home Loans branch in the city and see a lot of people with different investment strategies/theories. I think it's more important to do your own thing that fits in with your lifestyle. You probably know the housing market in your area better than you know the share market. My personal strategy is to buy the most expensive house you can afford in the best area you can afford and then try to pay it off (Good luck paying it off). This is the reason I haven't spent any money on my car (It sounded like a good strategy at the time). Good long term capital gain (hopefully should be higher than the mortgage interest paid), get to live in a nicer house than I would have bought otherwise. This strategy certainly isn't for everyone, but it works with my current lifestyle, most of the time. Good luck Dan
  16. PM me please
  17. Sorry to hear that you're looking to sell you car. Anyone looking at buying in this price range, this car is fantastic. You MUST have a look/go for a drive in it
  18. you should be able to get the rego money back. I did this years ago, just had to sign a stat dec to say that the car had been off the road the whole time and they gave me a refund (minus fees) can you PM me the name of the workshop Good luck with it all

  20. It's an alien tracking device
  21. Sorry to hear about your car dude Hope it's not too expensive. Good luck
  22. try a poll, see how many people are interested
  23. What's the story behind your car, I've heard bits and peices about but I haven't heard how you came about buying it.
  24. Did you get the right bulbs? BULB SELECTION HID bulbs come in two common standards today known as: D2S and D2R. D2S uses the D2 base and a clear, naked bulb. D2R uses the same D2 base and a bulb with a metallic strip along one edge to combat unwanted glare in the reflector headlamp. So in OEM HID applications D2R is used in reflector-type HID assemblies whereas D2S is used in projector-type assemblies. When you're purchasing an HID kit, you want to go with a D2S bulb because it emits slightly more light than the D2R.
