  1. Hi all just wondering which wire would I need to pick up on an R35 gtr to feed an aftermarket shift light?
  2. HEHEH Its not too bad .i did 90% of the work myself and had Croydon racing tune it. It isnt running 100% as it needs the diff gears and a few things I have touched retuned. I would love to run a 13 na but thats another story. Good luck in 3 weeks mate:)
  3. Hey mate how are you? I went last week and got a pb of 14.5 95.68mph. For a na six au taxi wagon..I was stoked!! Btw I didnt know the darn gauge was faulty on the night ..I am sorry:( Also wsid do have the best timers and they also register red light breakouts. It was not a breakout.
  4. Well it gets better. Now they made me famous and put me on the front page of the wsid website lol!! http://www.wsid.com.au/
  5. 60 footers went to buggery 2.486 to 2.9 . Standard ones do 2.3 lol. As a result the et wasnt good at all. The wagon had no traction whatsoever.I had taken it out to see where its at. Last year it ran a 14.7 .It has more power this year but just cant get traction. Today I treated it nicely and installed some traction enhancing parts. The takeoff has dramatically improved. The rear leaf springs are not flexing at all. The last run of the night and no final timing board.Tyre pressures were adjusted and the car recorded a 2.109 60 footer 6.088 330 footer and 9.335 660 footer. This run was on par with a 14.5 1/4 but never got recorded. But it happens and I still had a great night.
  6. BTW my tyre pressure gauge was stolen on the night but didnt realise tll the next day.Funny thing is after being a good samaritan I realise it read 7 psi too high.So much for a 50 dollar gauge!!
  7. I have heard this too.On their website of wsid they actually have an article before the night that it is the quickest reaction time without crossing the red. This must mean that they know if I had run the red!!Which obviously I didnt. http://www.wsid.com.au/default.asp?Page=Article&ID=647
  8. Just posting up about last week at wsid.I had met quite a few of the skyline forum members down there s the tyre gauge I lent out sparked up conversation everywhere. I only go twice ayear to the drags and I ended up popping the 0.000 reaction time and ended up taking home $960 dollars. I didnt even know there was a prize for this..I am still amazed!! Btw very nice to meet you guys there the other night cheers Stav
  9. Just make sure the guy is licensed. The license is issued after checks by the police.
  10. Dont put stickers on.Dont id your car to crims.
  11. I think under the circumstance the decision was not debatable.A few complaints sure beats blood on his hands.Abo this may well be the last communication with you...I hope you got my pm.Keep the 20 when you send the money back and buy yourself a beer. cheers Stav
  12. And a boozouki for music !!
  13. hey man thanks for that reply.I got on like a house on fire with the official at the track. So hopefully he wont get too stroppy on that one.But now that I know about their rules..its cool I wont do it again. Not bad intent in it at all. Maybe ill bring some special Greek cake for the officials next time to soften them up a little. Looking forward to it again..and hopefully in time before a terminally ill family memberpassess on. Cheers Stav
  14. BTW I confess I did the little burnout on the way out in the drag car waiting area with the wagon..I didnt realise that some people would be offended by this. First time ive been... Anyways Ill be wearing smokeless tyres and a silencer on the exhaust for those members with pacemakers next time. I won't do it again...promise... The wagon man.. Stav
  15. Was a good call by Adam to call the event off.Better have it another day than have people hurt. Good call man.
