Well im currently using Motul 300V 5-30, it worked great even after doing 30laps or so on the last track day..just thinking should i go with the 10-40 instead or maybe consider royal purple or redline...i just read the thread "the goods on oils" in the general maintainence section and yeah it has given me great insight into engine oils...im already using RBF600 and yeah it is awesome..the other brake fluid i was recommended was castrol xrf, but apprarently RBF600 has the highest dry n wet boiling point in the market. Gearbox oil im running redline shockproof and no complains abt it at all... I'm more of searching into coolant, clutch fluid and yeah fer the transfer case...my temps were very healthy on the track as i run almost all cooling components like oil cooler and alum GT radiator etc...was looking into getting a transmission cooler fer the gearbox though..any insight on that? I dont quite get wot u mean by old PSF fer attesa, clutch and power steer though...

I heard the testing in brissy is that they check the dB rating at 2/3 of yer maximum rpm? Well i've used a HKS super drager on my previous r33 gts-t and i liked it, never had problems with the cops at all..its pretty silent at low revs but opens up real hard on high revs...I feel the exhausts all give about the same power gain, but its the exhaust notes that differ between japanese catbacks and xforce, and perhaps durability is of another issue..the japanese exhausts seem to keep that same sweet note fer a long time, but other dodgy exhausts kindda give out a different note after a while compared to when its new...but well just my personal opinion..i would stick with japanese exhausts~ Now im running a fully customised 3.5" exhaust system from japan on my gtr, mines stainless dumps, titanium split front pipes, 3.5" metalcat ( the flow on the metal cat surprises me, i practically feel not much difference comparing it to when i was running straight-thru), 3.5" stainless custom welded catback, it flows awesome but its quite loud cuz im running internals as well, but i did test using a silencer on it, brought the dB down by 3dB, but pretty restrictive....Here's how it sounds~ http://www.grouper.com/GlobalMedia/MediaDe...st=-1&s=7&q=gtr

Interesting Tyre Review
J-Boy replied to Bass Junky's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Well ive used the Advan ad07, eagle f1 and currently the older model of the pilot sports, i have to say the pilot sports are pretty good, and its only the older model, the ps2 has been given great reviews but i havent had the chance to try them yet...they are pretty dear fer street tyres i have to say..the ad07 is great, esp in the dry and the steering feedback from the tyres are solid...the eagle f1, well i feel its good in the wet and not too bad in the dry..but somehow i'd still go with the advan or the pilot sport among these 3... I think the point of the car's weight is quite a substantial argument though.. -
Thanx!

Well i'm thinking of getting some work done on the gearbox of my gtr32, maybe putting in OS gears and dropping in new synchros and etc, anyone here can recommend some workshops/mechanics who are good with gearboxes and charge reasonable prices? By the way, can anyone tell me if it's possible to drop in a GTR34 gearbox into a GTR32 without too much hassle? As in will the clutch need to be changed as well or other parts need to be changed when a GTR34 gearbox goes into a GTR32?

Try some of the big bike shops ard...like star yamaha n so on...i think HJC has some of the better helmets in the cheaper range...like i saw a few going fer below 200 brand new, full faced n australian standards approved and some are SNELL too, also check out AGV, the arai and shoei all go fer at least 500 onwards or thereabouts. U could also check e-bay fer some good 2nd hand buys, as long as the helmet has no scratches and has never been dropped before, with the structure intact, it could still be a good buy...just make sure u get a helmet which fits snugly....lol i was doing lotsa homework on helmets before so i hope my input helps...

Helmets need to have australian standards sticker on it or SNELL approved...was told by the guys at QR so..
