I dont think u need over 400CCA to crank it up, 350 should be enuff. But that said some CCA of certain batteries are overrated or underrated. My deka etx30l is rated 365CCA, but when we tested it, its actually doing 470CCA.

UPDATED with more pics and more details. New AVC-R, new hiflow metalcat, new iridium plugs, recent minor tune etc. Car is going even harder than before now, you won't be disappointed. Need to sell this baby soon!

Now 336rwKw @ 1.35bar. Over 600nM at the flywheel. Still more to go.

Will there still be a skidpan? Where do they hold the skidpan n how is it setup?

It's done at Roadcraft in Gympie up north, about 170kms from brissy. Awesome place, awesome fun, and awesome people who run it.

I know mine's not a gts-t, but ive got well over 300rwKw on my gtr, and 550 injectors are fine, well i have a full fuelling system set up. Fuel consumption, i once did purely city driving n no highway, only got 270kms out of like 62L thereabouts, but i run a very rich tune. Tell your tuner how u want the tune to be, response or max output or etc. Dyno figures are not everything.

Is the solenoid all hooked up properly? If its working, u can hear the avcr solenoid tick away, its loud enuff to be obvious when driving n boosting. A dead solenoid is possible, the electrics of an EBC seldom fail, if anything dies, its usually the solenoid. And no u can't run other solenoids, it's already good that Apexi sell just the solenoid cuz some others don't and they will need a whole new ebc. Go with getting a new solenoid from nengun if the solenoid's dead. Apart from the long waiting time, nengun's prices are prolly the best u can find around.

Yeah well hopefully its all sorted out tomorrow, but sheesh this was surely missed from the start, what a bitch having gone thru so much checking. That was prolly why the car was driving perfectly fine i guess. Seems like the MetalCat can't handle too richly-tuned track gtrs. It just lasted me slightly more than a year I think ill just go de-cat on the circuit.

Well latest update is that we think we are finally onto something and might get all this sorted out. The intercooler was pulled off and tested, it was perfect. What we found was that the 3.5" metalcat had its internals all melted due to a very rich tune n trackwork and was causing a big blockage. The cat has been replaced and the car will be going onto the dyno tomorrow to confirm if everything is sorted out or not. Hopefully thats the end of all this boost drama. I cant believe after all the time checking n changing hoses n checking everything under the bonnet that it mightt possibly turn out to be the cat giving me problems.

What fuel the car was tuned on definitely makes a difference, but i have ran vpower racing previously on my r33 and it ran good. My mate had issues with it in his bmw e46 325 though, he just tried it in his evo8 gsr yesterday and it seems to be running good as well.
