  1. ^^^^Bollocks there is.
  2. Is this just a higher blend ratio or something different again?
  3. ^^^ agreed 20yrs too late and it's not even a freeway, what a joke. I like how they're saying it'll change the lives of people from the s.e and e, it'll reduce the amount of money in their pockets thats about it. I have a good question for them: if they hadn't created all that insignificant artwork along the route would we have cheaper tolls? Plain Roads, Normal bridges...screw the rest. IDIOTS! First time I use it I might even do a burn out "of derision" on the entrance ramp then one of "disgust" on the exit ramp. That'll learn em and learn em good
  4. How about those truck drivers.....what a bunch of assclowns
  5. But as long as everyone had a good time
  6. Could have removed her keys and done a citizens arrest? I'd still feel gyped re: the junior sheriffs badge though
  7. What no junior sheriff badge and a pat on the head? I hope you gave that tattooed feral a good headlight flashing before you/he/she turned off.
  8. Think I spotted a master cylinder in the forsale section recently...under wrecking or half cut, it was $40 I think.
  9. ^^^ obviously The difference is generally 3-4mm, park it on a road it'll look level, park on a flat peice of concrete it won't measure level. Track springs are not the same...tracks have little to no camber, sports springs...some brands are some aren't. Road springs.....
  10. Left and right springs when new are generally a different height..it's to allow for the amount of camber built into roads, so the car can track correctly.
  11. Pistons no....it's the rings that perform that task. Some setups are designed to let some oil through, generally for big hp apps or unleaded conversions.
  12. ^^^^ sounds kinda stylish when you put it that way. Like a favourite old armchair.
  13. Bwahaha....the ancient suburban warrior known as a Centura.
  14. Oil seal leaking/weeping turbo side perhaps. If you ever see a valve stem seal, it's like a small rubber cup that goes around the valve stem with the cup facing down. This basically redirects oil away from the valve stem/guides...kinda like an umberella and handle in simple terms. They don't hold compession or seal anything really. As for his too much boost theory...you know plenty of people on here that run high levels of boost with no problems. Ever heard of a high performance valve stem seal? me either You might want to have someone else look at the car.
  15. The valve guides would have to be loose as a whores... for that to happen. Valve stem seals stop oil running back down the valve stem into the cylinder when the engine is static...nothing more. When the valve stem seals are gone you get smoke on start up after you've been parked a while then it burns off with no smoke/oil loss during operation. If what your person says is true...he seems to think it's forcing it way up the valve stem/guide instead of taking the easy/designed route through the exhaust outlet in the head, that really doesn't make sense. If it were you'd effectively be making positive pressure (compression) through the head and into the crank...dipstick blowing out? It could well be a burnt out/poorly seated valve or 2...but It won't be valve stem seals. If anyone ever looks at a car thats blowing smoke under acceleration/de-accelleration and the owner says it's valve stem seals, have giggle then walk away. It's the oldest trick in the book.
  16. Yeah nothing compares to a full on GTR launch...but I guarantee if you keep the ass of the gtst soft and spend some good money on tyres they'll hook up off the line just fine. Problem I see with many gtst's is the owner. They pump $$ into horsepower then skimp on tyres, makes no sense at all.
  17. Yep that's numberwang alright....looks a fair thing for a stocker. Thanks for the clips, is it yours?
  18. ^^^^ s2 r33 was in production for 2+ years they didn't do it to move the last of the production run they didn't paint stripes on it and call it a cobra, it's also not whats called an s.v.p (special value pack). It's a facelift model like a falcon bf mk2 ect. M-spec have airbags The M stands for Mummy The r34 had an N-spec with 2 handbags The N stands for Nana.. If you could read Japanese you'd know this already
  19. front lip? or the plastic sump guard thing?
  20. ^^^^ engine and transaxle is all in the rear of a speedster. 60-66 falcon with a vr rack front end would be cool. wgn, ute, coupe sedan. I've been thinking of pulling the 289 out of my ute and doing this for a while.
  21. Double the speed limit in a roadwork zone on the Monash..
  22. Just did a scan myself guys...I can't find anything new. must be the pron *edit that was using spybot, adaware and avg
  23. Oh noes a forum with tracking cookies I think you'll survive the "attack"
  24. I'm not saying anything about the fd at all...never did. Now for a 3rd time. I was replying to the suggestion that an r34 with r35 running gear would be lighter than the r35 because the r34 is "300kg"lighter than an r35. As I said previously.......... By the time you put all the running gear across plus the shit load of electronics and plumbing to match, strengthen the chassis and fabricate new mounting points it will no longer be 300kg lighter. You say the r34 is 300kg lighter, I say when every thing is swapped over there wouldn't be much in it. You went off on some tangent re: put carbon fibre bla bla....then I said you could do the same with the r35 so why bother? So like for like.. you build an r34/5 street car or track car it'll end up around the same as a comparable r35. Your lack of basic comprehension is astounding. Still got an issue? Put he pipe down????? insulting little shit... Get a clue.
