  1. You could be a sports commentator Seriously though, if you can manage it go back to school and study.. A few years struggle now will most probably avert a lifetime of frustration and angst, assuming you have the intellect to drive a qualification or degree that is. The only thing more wasteful in life than an educated idiot is an intelligent man that has little or no education.
  2. Hello..clicky for 1st thread there are unanswered questions in the first thread you made to sell this.
  3. YES or was it NO?? exactly!! /edit just another random indifferent comment.
  4. and I.................. was just making a Jk
  5. Geez they really did see you coming man.. Bwahaha... jk's I agree with your sentiments as long as they're happy with their purchase..who cares!! and if you're overly sensitive with judgemental posts don't post your price paid after all it's between you and the bank no one else
  6. reduce plug gap to between .7-.8 with our fuel being lower octane than jap fuel it seems to help get rid of top end problems on a stock ecu. Also do an ecu reset if you havent done it already.
  7. Same down here (vic) Amaru, they look @ the demerit points you had at the time of the offense in conjunction with the offense before them, not what points you have when you arrive for your day in court 2 + years down the track and will suspend your licence retrospectively for the period in question(that of the offense in dispute) if found guilty or pleading guilty/no contest.
  8. I'm unsure of the current situation in Vic, but it used to be they could suspend your licence if you exceded your allocated demerit points over any 12 mth period or whatever period it was..cant remember (backdateable) regardless of whether old points have dropped off waiting for court dates ect, so it's the points you had @ the time of the offense you're contesting not what you have by the time you get to court that are taken into consideration...
  9. I can get some 350z rims for $260 a corner unmarked as new no tyres, these rims look tough on r33/34's pick up in melb if you're interested pics are not of actual rims but identical ofcourse
  10. haha the money or the box hey... I had the same option about 10 years back, what I figured out is if you take the 3 mths now and get your points back you'll also have a "suspension" on your driving record which is not good for insurance premiums or any driving related work you may do in the future. I took the 12 mth demerit point extension which for me in victoria meant If I didn't incur another point within the next 12 mths alls good if I did get another point I was suspended for 12mths. I kept a sensible and vigilante attitude to my driving for those 12 mths and made it np's. For me it wasn't a close choice, 3 mths suspension would have cost me my job @ the time and bugger having a suspension on my driving record. Just keep it in your trousers so to speak for 12mths and you'll be fine
  11. Harsh 200 but I understand your ire. In saying the police always win and they can fabricate the truth you're painting with some pretty broad and unsubstantiated strokes there fella. You might want to run those ideas and the way you've expressed them past one of your lecturers and get some feedback on how your progressing with your studies.

    Stolen R33

Thats not a bad start to the year Hope they didn't cane it 2 hard and steal all your goodies. either way you must be relieved.
  13. Exactly Archie, An assessors error is not a legal precedent, take it to a court of law and you will lose
  14. It's bad advice Dezz plain and simple, if you want to risk it good for you and I honestly hope you don't come unstuck.
  15. So the assessor is a bigger moron than the guys that had the accidents then? How they ever let that slip through I'll never know. Legally it's not a "grey" area at all. It's quite clear cut, if there was a personal or 3rd party damage/injury involved maybe they might have looked closer or if they'd made the mistake of giving the policy in the first place they possibly had some legal obligation, if that was the case I doubt they'd make that mistake again. If you're in this situation yourself I hope you don't get to test the law with a 3rd party injury suit or similar...you'll lose. You can tell as many anecdotes as you like but that is how the law stands, it's not open for interpretation. I don't understand how people give it's ok so long as you can get away with it kinda advise on a public forum, It's illegal plain and simple. If you choose to take such a large risk with your own future that's up to you but to tell other it's ok np's, you can get away with it so long as your smart (got oxymoron) wtf is that?... I advise anyone sensible enough to listen not to take the risk.
  16. Yes the law says no turbo for you and it's that way for many valid reasons, not just as an inconvenience for young guys who think there shouldn't be an issue with going from riding a bicycle to a turbo charged car. Do the right thing mate, what a lot of people here seem to overlook re: driving restricted cars on P's is the fact that if you have an accident driving an illegal car you are not covered by insurance...your policy would be voided. Sounds expensive just thinking about repairing your own car hey? now think of paying off damage to a strangers car if you happened to hit someone else..bad hey, now add some personal injury for yourself paying for your own treatment and rehab and last of all don't forget what would happen if you injured someone else or worse killed them. Basically it's a pretty good plan to stuff your life up very effectively on almost every level. Don't do it and anyone that advises you differently needs to have their head removed from their a55.
  17. Good post, being a victorian who's been driving modified cars for many many many...probably too many years I agree re:driving, attitude and honesty... It's generally the manner in which the car is driven that'll get you pulled over not the car itself unless ofcourse you've got a blatantly obvious defect like you're so low you're dragging your rails on the road or extremely loud. I've been let off for many tickets mainly I guess because of my demeanor at the time, the one time I did get treated harshly was all my own doing. I'd been pulled for speeding and it was a fair cop, but I was admittedly having a bad day so I gave the cop a fair old fashioned spray (couldn't help myself) and copped another ticket for tailgating and having a big mouth. On the opposite side I was driving like a mad man running late to work one morning (a day after being warned re: tardiness) got pulled explained the situation and was waved on in a rush with the advice "set your alarm earlier nxt time and goodluck with the boss" while I took off flat changing up the hwy In summary keep your car legal and in r.w.c, drive sensibly and remember police are doing a very important job for society, it's usually not personal unless you've made it that way. Do the opposite, drive like a tard, drive a restricted vehicle or mod your car beyond the legal guidelines and have a knobbish attitude you'll get all you deserve.
  18. Condition? any shaft play and how many klm's had it done before removal.
  19. Nice car, you can see where they borrowed the styling from...lotsa Lotus in there.
  20. Or how about Jigga & Boo...both being darkish dogs.
  21. Fats and Stinky...try yelling it out the front door, works for me.
  22. Had your wheels balanced? are they buckled...tyres flat spotted? Unless your tyres are rubbing offset wouldn't be your problem.
