  1. depends how much i'm quoted on a pair from another source... i may be in as my front rotors need machining so i might as well upgrade... how long till close? id need about a fortnight... :S
  2. Had a look under the car when i dropped it off for the clutch. there was a little oil coming down between the gearboc and motor. He said that shouldnt be causing the smoke... as its no where near the exhaust... but i spose when the car is moving it could go anywhere under the car... meh... in case yous were wondering. theres a hose that comes down under the car next to the trans pretty much... the gy reckoned it was the aircon hose... is it? coz THAT would explain it...
  3. sweet. anyone else?
  4. no biggy? nah it didnt smell... not like when the clutch slipped last time. im trying to get the bloody stez installed and now ive got a clutch comin and now theres a leaking seal? is it something that could be done with the clutch installation? Can i check the manual gearbox oil like ya can with an auto?
  5. Had a look just then and couldnt see much... nothing on the floor of the shed (not like the commo ) so i spose itd only happen when warm. Ill get him to have a look when he does me clutch.
  6. Ah fudge... thats not good is it? where abouts would it mostly leak?
  7. Well my clutch has been slipping lately, as its a stock clutch on a ~180rwkw r33... Was driving one time with a mate and he spotted like faint smoke coming front the gearbox area in the cabin... i was thinkin clutch well anyhoo today i overtook someone on the highway and i saw the smoke... coming pretty much from the shifter area i think. it not a heap of smoke... just kinda like a lit ciggie perhaps a bit less if thats some sort of description anyhoo i searched and browsed some old threads and to my understanding that when a clutch goes smoke will come from the back of the car, not into the cabin. and it will be grey/black? whereas what i could be experiencing is a leaking transfer case? can anyone elaborate on this? Im betting clutch, as it is the stocker and i have been driving like a p plater... but need some opinions on how to check it... the clutch is getting done this week anyway so are there any things i should check / get him to check when he does the clutch? Thanks heaps... wish this thing was as easy as the commodore
  8. yeah the green 32s from maldon i think. havent seen the r34... then again i dont get out much did you happen to be near the 'devo mart' about 3 ish following a white car? i only saw the front and assumed it was a s13... dunno
  9. this look like a dead stocka. was in castlemaine so i doubt it was yours. parked near Top End Tech up from the train lines... Ive seen a black r34 at KFC one time a while ago. i think it was NA... would of liked a chat but i was starving lol
  10. Anyone else here from say, Bendigo, Castlemaine, Maldon areas? Just curious thats all. Ive seen a burgandy 33 a silver 33 and a green 32 and was wondering if these or any one else on here from the region waste as much time on here as i do :S
  11. i know... im always right
  12. actually i think they look like white r33s with white rims...
  13. i kinda like the look my car:
  14. ^ i thought the stealth bovs switch between atmo and plumback...
  15. woohoo another e-fight My standard bov is in my glove box lol anyhoo there were Qs The law is atmo venting bov (the bis ptsscchh! noise ones) are illegal... something about venting bad air blah blah etc. Plumback ones are fine, these ones go pttsssccchh still, but vent the air (and most of the noise) back into the air intake. Now i dunno how youd go, but you could just get something to cover the bov hole in the intake. pull over before they check it. take off your bov, cover the hole, drive carefully with the flutterz and when your passed and good to go, drive out, put bov back on, drive home and park it in the shed and leave it there till you get a plumback it took me a while to find one for my car, and if its a NEED TO NOW kinda thing my suggestion could work. just take it really easy with no bov.
  16. yeah i think youve said that lol if theres no white ones i will have to take you up on your offer
