there seem to be a heap of silver r33 owners with the grill... out of all the white r33s no one has a standard grill they want to get rid of? in other words... BUMP

Yeah, i agree, if its at a club event like cruises track days etc. if your an idiot its the clubs business on what happens. but if your on the street its between you, the police and god if you manage to hurt or endanger yourself and or others. some would say some laws are BS, but the main ones like speeding, dangerous driving are there for a reason.

anyhoo back to the doors lol has anyone found decent kits for less than $1k? im not paying up to $3000 for a pair of hinges...

what does it say on them? anyhoo, probably interested depend on what price you can do them for. pretty much a bolt on except for modification of the throttle cable n shiznit? or will i need an aftermarket tb too?

have you tried searching? I think the ecus are different as the computer has to handle the auto gear changes. not positive on that tho. then theres the usual interior stuff like gear surrounds, clutch, pedals etc etc

dont try ebay :S unless your buying the hinges themselves. the instruction to make the hinges are available free on the net or $20 plus postage (how can an email have postage?) on ebay... your looking about $1k+ for the hinges. seen em for $1600 off one website :S the doors may need modifying too so it may not be a true DIY kits anyhoo. why do it yourself and screw it up or have a pro do it and screw it up. Perhaps you could enquire on group buys while your looking? i wouldnt mind the look but no f*king way am i paying that much when a highflow turbo is $900 a nos kit is $800 new rear treads $700 etc etc etc

who that looks great... i should polish tha standard one i got before i put it in the enginebay so it goes with everything else... a front facing plenum looks awesome too. makes the engine bay look way cleaner without intercooler piping snaking its way everywhere...

check the For Sale section, the owner is trying to sell the rims off it so yer, find that and you can PM the owner of the car. um... search for 20" rims or something...

nah its got the stocka on it... it just might have had a aftermarket one and he return most of the car to stock to sell it...

it must just not like me then... it appears to come on fairly randomly, but if i had to pick anything it would be accellerating from say 50 to highway speed quickly :S not too sure really, but the out of whack wheel allignment is more noticable 110kmh+ i havent checked the fluid since i topped it up last, bout a fortnight ago? so yer will check that... if an aftermarket wheel is fitted what would meed to be done for the HICAS? i think it may have had the wheel changed and returned to stock to sell it... dunno...

Just a quick Q. If my car need a wheel allignment, would it cause the HICAS light to come on in the dash? i did a quick search but most causes was things like low fluid, blown fuse etc... thanks

what do you mean? i got a stock one right next to me so... from what i can understand (at 2am) its a total seal, if there was a gap wouldnt it leak? under vac the bov has no pressure to keep it closed thus 'ptscchhh' thats my understanding of the one next to me... at the mo i got a turbosmart atmo so yer...

driving my car home from melb had an excel or something dodgy fly up next to me trying to coax me to speed up. i was sitting bout the limit and theyve taken off to easily 140kmh... i just rolled my eyes and kept goin on me way... i hope one of the speed camera got em

you got a 5 farad capacitor for A 10 inch sub? how much you pay? dont get me started on capacitors. i ran a 12" with 950wrms thru it and i hammered it everytime i drove the car... the most modification i did for the power is re earth the car with a bigger guage cable and bought a better battery (was still 'only' a Bond silver/calcium battery). never had a flat battery except for one time i left the interior light on over a long weekend.

how far you wanna go? Bendigo one is open from thurs morn all the way to sun night... nut thats what... a 2 hour drive at least from melb
