  1. Awesome car, I've seen it in person a few times and it's very clean. Best of luck with the sale
  2. I'll take the hyper rev book if it doesn't get taken by jeff Please PM me
  3. Depends on your frame and what you like... you need to go and sit in some Like I could tell you I prefer the GTR seats to the Recaros in my old Evo... however, that's because my cars are daily driven and the GTR seats are supportive and a lot more comfortable.. so really there's so many variables....
  4. Yeah sticker kills it... love the rims, get a GTR wing too
  5. Does fibreglass crack easily? I've got a genuine S3 lip, but it's been colour coded to the car. Might just be easier to buy a fibreglass one??
  6. If you're doing all that, you should consider putting in the extra money and adding forged pistons / rod bolts (and rods depending how much power you intend to make in the future, if sticking with 350kw @ 4 then standard rods are fine). At least that way you won't have to have it out again in a long time (assuming no problems). If you do that, you'll be able to run your desired power target for a long time with no issues... it's a big call though as it's quite a bit of extra coin... I'm sure you've considered this idea
  7. I've got standard R33 GTR seats, and my previous evo had recaros in it... and a friends car has the recaro SR3s. I find the GTR seats are a lot more comfortable, much better for day to day driving. The recaros are nice but rather tight, esp on the thighs. However - it really depends what size person you are. If you're small, you'll love the Recaros... I'm a bit bigger (not huge but "cudly" haha), and hence I love the GTR seats. Most people I know love the GTR seats, big and small You can't go wrong with them.
  8. Do the cops actually inforce it well? Pretty silly speed really
  9. Was it 330kw @ all four? What MPH did it run? How'd you feel running that power level on a stock motor? Cheers
  10. I've got it on PC and it's great. Not sure how long it'll last though, as it's sorta the same thing over and over again.... especially when in the death match servers Great game though, I've already gotten 10 hours out of it, so at $8 per hour it's good value. I'm up to Level 22.. some awesome unlocks are coming through now
  11. Impressive time Stock gearbox holding up OK? Build bottom end I assume?
  12. I've got very similar mods to your planned list, although at the moment still stock cams / cam gears (big limiation). I make 290kw @ all four and run 11.8 @ 117mph. It should gain quite a lot of power once I put the cams in (top end, and lots of midrange). From there, it's a question of how much you trust your stock bottom end and what you use the car for. I've got a stock bottom end so I don't want to run more than 300kw @ all four, or a figure around that anyway. Mine is a street driven car with the odd legal drag race, so I figure it should run this kinda power for a long time without too many dramas. I do use AFMs though, and a PFC, but a E11 is a great ECU Don't forget you'll need a decent clutch. Not sure whether the FMIC is needed.
  13. Mine attached. I really need to paint my front lip black.
  14. Most R33 GTRs start at around $26-27k+, and that's for a 1995 one... sure there's a few exceptions, but as Blitz said, be careful I just did a search on carsales and it said the same price range.... in NSW anyway. R34s always fetch a higher premium because they are younger and until soon, they've still been the most recent model. I know of a few guys that have brought in R34 GTRs for $45k recently
  15. What do you mean R33 GTRs are so cheap compared to R32 GTRs? They're more expensive... Make sure you look for a good one, like you can get R32 GTRs for $15k, you can get R33 GTRS for $23k, I wouldn't go near them though... If you're just doing track days, I'd stay with your S15 mate. If you want a car that's awesome to cruise in / drive everyday, and perform well at the track.... well that's when it gets a bit different
  16. Thanks mate, I was thinking the same about yours... very clean. I've seen you out and about on the GWH quite a few times late on Saturday nights
  17. Same thing happened to a friend from Castle Hill. So yeah, nasty stuff
  18. Good to meet you mate (I was the guy chatting to you in the beanie if you don't remember) Certainly looked like you were all having some great fun out there, certainly entertaining watching you guys in the rain
  19. Hey mate.... so are the Nismo R33 GTR indicators clear, or? Your pic doesn't work. Let me know Cheers Tommo
  20. I had no idea this was on and have the day off - i'll most likely come down for a look depending on weather
  21. If you end up having another spot free - let me know, very keen
  22. I thought that might be the case... thanks for the info
  23. Out of interest, what about ATTESA controllers for R33 GTRs? If you got one of them and put it to RWD mode (or 0% front power), you could run it on a RWD dyno? I'm still looking around to try to find one, they are very rare
