  1. Yep, they'll be hosted online soon (like our website? www.gunnamotorsport.com hehehe), so once they are, i'll post the link. You can email him on xsvphoto@gmail.com though edit:- Duncan, you've got a PM.
  2. Hey Duncan... here's a few pictures of your car taking by a friend (i'd get my pics but I'm at work) http://www.gunnamotorsport.com/pics/DSC_1286.jpg http://www.gunnamotorsport.com/pics/DSC_1013.jpg http://www.gunnamotorsport.com/pics/DSC_1018.jpg Cheers, Tommo.
  3. LOL @ lightening procedures, thats gold!! Pretty sure I got some nice photos of your car, expect to have them tomorrow!
  4. See the chronic understeer he got from the front left? Classic stuff! And the blue S14 which locked up the rear right a few too many times.. then everytime it drove past, sounds like "donk donk donk" as you can hear the flatspots complaining
  5. It was an awesome day - great fun and lots of entertainment. How many GTR owners competiting for the fastest times were running slicks? I noticed Johns car was Although I don't blame him, with that kinda power, damn it was twitcy coming onto the main straight under power.. you got closer and closer to that wall I swear.. !! Which commodore blew up? The VL, or? I left during the last session, did it happen then? Defintely a shame about the blow ups of the day... that fire was the worst, I was right near the car at the time but didn't scream down to the pits to get a fire extuingsher when it pulled in, as (like the +30 people around me) figured he would have had one in the car. At least it was only a power steering pump failure, but I hate to wonder how much damage that fire caused to other components. Either way, that car was awesome... anyone else see the way it came onto the main straight? Loved it Duncan: was your GTR the one with the plastic rear window? hehe What happened to your car 88silhouette? I was going to get some good photos to make up for the last time, but after the first lap you disappered. I did get one shot though, which i'll email to you tomorrow... Either way, great day from a spectator perspective. Defintely not a day i'd go onto the track for the first time at, but great to see tough cars being hammered. I got a few shots of other cars which i'll post up later on... Cheers, Tommo.
  6. I've got a stock R33 S2... my thoughts: I checked mine on the dyno and it was running lean (13.5:1 AFRS). Turns out the pump was on the way out, and it wasn't getting enough volts. For a few hundred dollars, I don't see why you wouldn't upgrade to a better one to ensure your engine doesn't go bang, especially considering it's a rather common problem to have the fuel pumps let go. I fitted a Walbro 500HP pump and it's been fine ever since
  7. Finally someone with sense.. I own a GTS-T but i'm more than open enough to admit that a WRX will beat me... thats not why I bought a GTS-T though..
  8. Spotted GTR32M on epping road giving it a few bootfulls this evening going towards the start of the M2, and up the hill next to the M2 entrance Plenty of excess fuel, but looked like it went well
  9. Silver R33 @ Eastern Creek today... for the WRX vs NSCC day Had the plates ****33 (fill in the * with plate numbers, I forget the plate )
  10. Yeah, I need a VTEC controller dammit, I want to make my turbo kick in earlier
  11. Make sure you have someone that can setup an AVC-R before buying one, they aren't easy to setup and I know of numerous people that have sold them due to this. It's also pretty ricey. Give me a simple EBC anyday!
  12. AVCR = used to control boost SAFC = used to alter air / fuel ratios... most of the time just to take some fuel out of the mix without having to purchase a replacement / piggyback ECU.. RSM = rev speed meter. It's a unit that tells you stuff like peak speed, peak boost, G forces etc etc etc You don't need any of them. Cheers, Tommo.
  13. I can highly recommend this camera.. i've got one and they are AWESOME for anyone wanting to get into photography. Thats a brilliant price too... even if shipping is a couple of hundred $$$ !!! Good luck with the sale! Tommo
  14. I had a skyline behind for a fair while in the wet on cahill express way just before the toll gates to go onto the bridge into the city
  15. Way to beat a rotor? Just race it twice
  16. 2PAC is alive, living in Las Vegas with Bill Clinton and Elvis.
  17. Good to see a few more posts with a decent line of thinking. I own a GTS-T but I have no problems in saying a WRX will be a better performer in standard trim (straight line, corners, etc), but thats not why I bought a GTS-T.. I like RWD, big cars, lots of torque and great reliablity (jesus, I sound like a bogan!).
  18. Whats on at wakefield this weekend? Bad luck about the exhaust... but I agree with the others, Parra road sucks.
  19. What times did it run at the strip? Looks very tough, nice work.
  20. A stock GTS-T will body roll all over the place... oh, and the WRX will only understeer on the LIMITS, as will the GTS-T oversteer on or near the limit. Sorry, I should haven't clarified myself better I personally (like i'm sure you do) prefer to have the arse start coming around on me than the front tyres running off the road.. but thats beside the point, as thats what WE like, which shouldn't be used in a fair comparison. Well tell me exactly what you are comparing the cars to?? I'm comparing handling and performance. Both are pretty relavant in comparing cars don't ya think... hence why I talking about handling and then drag racing... I thought that made sense? I know what you mean about grip vs actual handling, but i'm not going to be convinced a stock GTS-T outhandles a stock WRX. Where exactly have you decided this? I've driven my fair share of performance cars and have a fair idea about handling vs grip. I've driven five GTS-Ts all up (ranging from 94 - 97 models), and i've driven the same number of WRXs (MY94 - MY01). I personally don't think i'm going to change your view anyway... considering how passionate you have been about it throughout this thread.
  21. In my experience, a stock WRX will out handle and out perform a stock GTS-T without any problems. People who say different are wrong or ignorant. Go to the drags and you'll see this. Stock WRXs run 14.2 - 14.4.. it's rare to see a stock GTS-T run this. Note, i'm assuming both drivers are good and the car is in good condition. However, a stock GTS-T will be more fun & rewarding to drive than a stock WRX, considering the WRXs tendancy to understeer in standard trim. The WRX also defintely has a weaker gearbox, but it's very rare to break one in standard trim (which is what we are talking about here... of course, you can break one if you do 6k launches repeatly and don't know how to change gears...) After reading this thread, I now know why a lot of people say "damn skyline drivers", some of you are oh-so-ignorant.
  22. Do a search, there's heaps of information around about 33 GTS-T idle problems. Most common at the ACC value needs cleaning, throttle body needs cleaning, check AFM, check TPS. ie: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...t=idle+problems
  23. I don't let me car warm up as i'd be waking the family / neighbours. I just wait a few seconds for it to gain some oil pressure, and drive off boost & below 3000rpm for the first few minutes of my drive. However, I don't "baby" like driving fifth gear at 60km/hr, more cruise at 2500rpm or so... wouldn't driving at low revs / high gear under load put lots of stress on the engine and if it's cold, do more damage than good?
  24. http://evilimaging.com/fatzdrift/ Lots more pics there of every car!
