  1. why run shitty wheels? might be easier just to use what uve got unless ur running like 19's, if ur running 18's or 17's i can probably help u out.
  2. for almost double the $$ of the standard model, id expect them to do more than just take out the rear seats tho make em work for their money i say
  3. lol if u own a pizza place, yes go at least 8", i prefer to go at least 8.5"
  4. depends, ull spend a touch over $100 to get through the gates and on the track, then depending on what u use, $50 - $100 for tyres and fitting (i can help u out if ur running 17's), have a full tank when u get out there, ull use most of it, borrow a helmet, make sure u have long sleeves. shouldnt spend more than $300. i rarely spend over $200 for a day.
  5. ive always said, i wanted the V-spec to be a RWD version with both manual and twin clutch auto options, with the RWD will change the weight distribution, meaning gear box mounted back so far isnt needed, hence it can run up to the engine, hence the possibility of a manual option
  6. should make it out there
  7. Item: Whiteline Adjustable Caster bushes installed in stock caster rods these are the bushes out of SK's group buy: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/R3...ils-t85591.html Age: About 6 months i guess Condition: Excellent, havnt seen many K's, probably around 2,000k's. Price: $150 pretty firm as the caster bushes by themselves are worth $120 new, not to mention the cost of getting them pressed etc. To Fit: R32 GTS-t and every other car that fits those caster rods Location: SA, will post anywhere Contact: PM me Comments: Not much to say really, but if ur thinking about buying adjustable caster bushes, these are probably a better option than just buying them by themselves new as it will cost u $50+ to get the bushes pressed anyway, so ur looking at up near $180+ just for the bushes + time off the road taking them out and getting them pressed. this way u will just have to swap them straight over, no pressing, no time off the road etc, easier and cheaper.
  8. im sure they'd find a way
  9. word from my mate who got it from his old lady who read it in the news the car clamp is up to 90 days and its not just hooning, its cars caught repeatedly unregistered, drink driving or vehicles caught in association with vandalism
  10. seem to be getting pretty good turnouts from SAU at these drift days, might be worth putting together something like the grip days where we grab a bunch of garages, maybe have a BBQ etc.
  11. if someone is generally interested they will request photos but until them im quite frankly too lazy the tyres on them are high performance tyres, if need be i can provide 225/45's all round, although the other pair will be some near new condition Pirelli PZeros which are a $400ea tire new. i would prefer to sell them with tyres and im sure the buyer would be fine with having top of the line performance tyres come with the wheels. tbh im not really fussed what u would do, people prefer different things, just as im sure u like things one way im sure there will be plenty of people out there that would like to have their wheels already wrapped in good rubber when it gets to their door that they have paid only a fraction of what they are worth new.
  12. SOLD!! Item: Genuine R33 GTR wheels w/ tires PCD: 5x114.3 17x9 +30 all round These wheels will be machined and powdercoated, they will be in MINT condition. Location: SA, can post anywhere Item Condition: Mint condition, as mentioned these will be machined and powdercoated to new condition. Reason for Selling: need $$$ for my car Price and Payment Conditions: Looking for $1300, which i think is pretty fair considering they are forged lightweight rims, good size and offset. Extra Info: These wheels as mentioned are forged, this means that they are very strong and very lightweight, they weigh around 9kg which is less than wheels like BBS LM's which are well over $4000 for a set new. these are an awesome track wheel, as well as awesome looking wheels and good with cops as well as they are technically a factory nissan wheel Pictures: these are what the wheels look like on a silvia: i dont have any of the actual wheels, but as i said, they are mint condition, they are currently being powdercoated white like these: im located in SA near mitcham, but can post anywhere in Aus for between $100-$200
  13. well u know, im trying to make u understand, if u want that paint and kit (besides recommending u a good optometrist) it would make a lot more sense to buy a car here and get it done locally, and as i said, the SR is a pretty terrible way to go about it all, i mean as cubes said, SR's are fine in a light shell where weight is more of a factor, but R34's are designed to have a RB25 sitting there, so the extra weight isnt such an issue which is really the only advantage the SR has, and really for the larger size of the R34 u really need a bigger engine like the RB25, especially if ur planning to make big power like he attempted with the SR. also anyone who has been through regency will tell u how anal they are about even a stock car let alone something like this, these people saying this have usually been through the system a few times already and know, personally ive cleared 2 defects and 1 compliance and imo u will not get through inspection unless u get a really really nice inspector. although anything is possible i guess.
  14. lol at even the thought of that passing a regency roadworthy inspection, id buy nightcrawler's and give that the gay spray paint and kit. oh and the sr20 instead of the rb25? thats just, well stupid. look at that power curve, compare it to a rb25 running the same power.
  15. as i said on ns, thanks heaps, got some good ones of me
  16. i say we get a RB26 running 500hp on stock internals and put it up against the VR38.
  17. so bkc, is this goodbye?
  18. yeh sorry, didnt make that too clear, as duncan said, put it on the inside of the wheel arch down near the side skirt and pull it to push the wheel forward. lol yep, get someone to do the pulling while ur underneath, i put the bolt through the bush first, wait till the threads line up on the lower control arm then push them in.
  19. ONLY $19.99!! http://www.cosmi.com/static/Learn_to_Speak_English.aspx
  20. ive just received a PM from the bloke on ns.com, seems he might be wrecking it meaning he probably didnt have insurance
  21. lol shotgun the rad support oh yeh, and hope drivers ok and has insurance n shit. actually scrap that, hope he doesnt have insurance so he has to wreck the car haha nah, good luck n shit with the car.
  22. pretty sure it was a R32 if anyone knows who this is, can u please get me their details, not to be a kent but im interested in some parts if he's wrecking it.
  23. ^^yeh +1. ull pick a stock exhaust up for not much these days, i picked mine up for free luckily enough, just for when i get defected.
  24. exhaust technology is south of the city near unley, im sure having something up north would be handy for those that live up there.
