  1. i think i may.....yep, i just pee'd a little f**k thats looking the biz now with the facelift
  2. was loving that 350gt, big fan i have to say, wheels sat nice, looked the biz.
  3. unfortunately SAU went down just as flick sent me the PM so i didnt know the start point but funnily enough i stumbled across the tail end of the cruise coming back from work. so i followed on, was pretty well behaved on the streets, had a nice run up windy's until i realised i had to slow down and pull over to get back behind them at the top as i didnt know the route pretty typical route, was hoping for some more spirited hillsy roads but overall pretty good.
  4. haha, replied.
  5. AHAHAHA!! sorry mate, haha i remember now wondering whether u were off SAU as i thought i may have recognised the car, i usually try to make sure i recognise them first before i throw out a wave or something, ive found skyline drivers dont take to well to looking at them or throwing a wave their way if they dont recognise u owell at least i know now.
  6. im not part of scs but wouldnt mind having a suss of this cruise, can someone PM me with the details. im not an hoon driver btw lol
  7. i would be interested to see weight differenced as i know the VS-KF is pretty heavy itself.
  8. i put down the modenas but to be honest neither are my style really. ull find that even tho the VS-KF's are work they are far from lightweight.
  9. mm maybe, not too keen on the dyno, but might drop by as a live pretty close to boostworx.
  10. ^^yep couldnt agree more, getting a feel for ur car on the limit is important for being able to control the car in an emergency.
  11. i think what people are trying to say is, it might not have been ur HICAS that caused u to crash, so if u lock the HICAS dont expect it to never happen again. the rear coming out on a RWD turbo car when u put ur foot down to "power out of it" isnt unusual, are u 100% sure the rear just didnt lose traction? not having a go, but u dont want it to happen again just because u assumed it was a HICAS issue and that it wouldnt happen again, and at 80k's ur lucky it wasnt a lot more serious.
  12. yeh ive gotta say, dont know what u were doing, but to just spin like that not in an emergency situation or anything, maybe u should take it easier in general. hell ive driven on completely bald tires before in the wet and sure if there was an emergency situation i would have been screwed, but under normal driving i didnt have any real issues, just need to take it easy. if ur worried about damage get a mech to check it and maybe get the wheel alignment checked.
  13. or just drive up a really high mountain and drive on some ice and get a similar effect. 235 on 9's and 255 on 9.5's are good, wouldnt go any lower than 225 on a 9"
  14. his is silver isnt it?
  15. sometimes i would agree with that, but yeh just more reading up is needed i rekon. + im poor after yesterday, dont think ill be buying anything like that for a while.
  16. me maybe? im always up and down windy's but usually notice imports if they are on there. did it have a SAU sticker on the top, or a RIP drift pig sticker?
  17. oh sorry, did u wave? i was just having a suss of ur car and didnt see u wave. i recognized u off here but didnt think u saw me. sorry bout that anyways, honestly didnt see u wave if i did i would have chucked u one back.
  18. yeh i dunno, reading some of gary's notes about them makes me less keen on them, and it all makes sense too. i mean if it comes down to it ill grab some but woudnt mind looking into the ones with bushes still.
  19. nah bs, and u know it. how much caster did david get again with his? coincidence that both me and him got around 6 on both sides, on both of our cars? not keen on rose joint rods, im gonna try and find an adjustable rod with a urethane bush. oh and i was going as hard into turn one as possible, most times i ended near the outer apex with basically no grip left, that was all she had in her. line on the other hand i could probs work on.
  20. lol yeh cheers for pointing that issue out, i didnt really look for any other issues as i noticed the vacuum line to the boost gauge gone straight away, and as much as i cable tied the bitch back together it kept blowing apart, hence in the end i just cable tied the end of the vacuum line to stop it from leaking. when it started choking again i just assumed it had failed like all my other attempts. yeh wheel alignment is definately an issue, as much as i love the GB, the bushes with it just do not give you enough adjustment, after adjusting the castor rods to max, all i could get was like 6. the camber is another massive issue, will be going some proper arms, the bushes once again do not give enough adjustment and are frankly too friggin hard to play around with. pressure was 30psi cold, wasnt sure what to run as they were technically a road tire. for the spring rates there is f**k all roll, but i wouldnt mind stepping up the spring rates and shock valving up just a tad, but for now its just not worth the $$ for me as im quite happy with it at the moment. for drift there is a bit too much kick back than id like, but once again for the spring rates its bloody impressive how little roll and kick back there is.
  21. was a good day, had issues with missing badly (vacuum leak), so meant i couldnt go hard on the straights. besides that worked out most handling and braking issues, need harder springs and shocks, SK's GB just isnt enough i dont think, great for the road but showing its weakness on the track with grippy tires. got the old lady out there in the gold VT, that was good for a laugh
  22. monarocountry, u have polluted this and other forums for a while now with bs, now i understand ur cause, but to be honest ur not doing aussie cars any favours, i like aussie cars for what they are, but when u come on here claiming this shit it really makes the aussie car enthusiast community look bad. how about maybe trying to come on here and say, ok yeh thats impressive, congrats to nissan, i have a few questions ra ra ra etc etc. much respect to how the majority of memebers of LS1.com are handling it, not just the same imports vs aussie car bs.
  23. why do u want 10's all round? i mean id assume so u can run big tires for grip and handling but u seem to contradict that by wanting 19's.
  24. thats a good price for what they are, big fan of the contis.
