  1. just to let u know, theres no such thing as workmeister sp1's, i think u mean Work Meister S1's, SP1's are a similar wheel made by SSR
  2. ok apparently they are 17x8 +40 and 17x9 +38 according to my mate who just went out and checked them.
  3. ill try and get it confirmed ASAP
  4. ^^nissan doesnt really need a F1 team, they already have Renault. EDIT: ohk just read it, makes sense.
  5. yeh true, as well as u make the wheel look bigger with lower profile, u make the car look higher.
  6. to be honest im having a hard time understanding what exactly ur after, but if ur after a more stretched look go a thinner tire, u want the tire to be smaller on the rim get a lower profile, both of which will probably affect handling negatively. for a 8" rim which i assume it is, to get a stretched look go maybe a 205/45 or 215/45 tire, or if u want go to down in profile get maybe a 205/40 or 215/40.
  7. id go with a 255, if not id go a 245.
  8. hey, now please dont delete this or anything as im really in need of these. basically i need some decent 2nd hand semi-slick tires for an upcoming practise day. tires need to be around 225-255 wide and for a 17" wheel. if anyone can help, either they have some they wanna sell, or have a mate or know of a store that has a few good 2nd hand tires thatd be great. cheers
  9. yep sure. i rekon im gonna pull the rims apart, paint the centres and get them resealed. once the centres are black i reckon they will look really good.
  10. ^^they are a good tire, highly recommend them.
  11. still for sale peps, throw me an offer and i might consider it, starting to get too many rims and dont really have a use for these anymore. at the same time i dont really want to sell these for cheap as they are proper genuine Jap wheels, not some cheap heavy shit that make the car handle like a shit down a slippery dip.
  12. swap + $500 cash my way? http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/t175597.html
  13. and the 32 for that matter haha. definately a good op to sponsor a car that will be a massive contender at drift fest.
  14. be prepared that some bushes u will need to get pressed in professionally, other bushes u can do urself with a vice etc.
  15. my pick would be some 235/50's, 235's would be a fair bit more common that 245's, profile wise im not sure when it comes to how common they are. but i guess if u wanted to u could run 255's, would flop around a fair bit through the corners tho.
  16. spacers increase track, which usually means better handling, although getting the balance in track is also important (front vs rear track). but theres also the issue of alot of spacers not being hubcentric, this means the little hubcentric ring that holds the wheel centred isnt there which can cause high speed shutters and shaking in the steering. so, honestly ud probably be better off getting a lower offset wheel.
  17. ^^yes, different applications: u want less grip = stretch u want more grip = dont stretch haha im probably gonna get into trouble for summarising it so basically.
  18. btw should i think about changing plugs again? what kind of effect would the richness have on the plugs?
  19. haha yeh i was happy to buy them, i dont actually know what happened, u just didnt reply to my last PM owell sorry, im probably about to grab some other rims, if that falls through ill chuck u another PM.
  20. yeh i know what u mean, everyone wants drift teks these days or some chinese crap like that, thats fine for looks, but for half the price u can grab properly made lightweight jap wheels like these.
