^^yeh i think u mean low and high disk. problem is it doesnt specify whether they are high or low disk, i mean id assume they would offer the option with the rim its just im looking at buying them 2nd hand from Japan and cant tell what they are.

realistically if ur after rims that just look good buy whatever u think looks good, unsprung weight will play a decent role in how the performs, but when it comes down to it if ur not someone that thrashes ur car u will barely notice it. saying that for $1500 some decent 2nd hand genuine rims can be had, but they wont usually be in the condition of the new wheel for obvious reasons. ur usually better off buying Japanese as they are one of the few countries that has regulations and standards for wheels, Australia doesnt which means the cheapest and nastiest wheels can be sold. not to say these are, but u never know. these copies usually use a very cheap casting method which means to build strength in their wheels they need to use a lot more metal which = weight.

hey pretty simple question, im looking at some Volk GT-P 17x9 +16's and just wondering they will clear the front brakes on a m-spec r32 gts-t? they have a fair bit of dish for the size and offset which leads me to think they dont have a huge amount of clearance behind the spokes to the hub, but they are also have pretty flat spokes so i dunno. this is the wheel here for anyone interested:

hey dont know how successful this will be but just need some wheels to chuck on the front as im currently borrowing some spacers to fit some other wheels that dont clear gts-t brakes and need to give them back. wheels cannot be buckled, cracked etc, gutter rash isnt much of an issue. wheels need to clear M-spec brakes at the front. looking for something around the 8-9" wide mark, dont want to go any thinner. for 8" im looking at anything at either +40 or lower, 8.5" +35 or lower, and 9" +30 or lower. also interested in a set if the price is right. cheers

just go for a higher offset. surely u could be having heaps bad scrubbing issues, i ran 9.5" +38 with 255's on stock gts-t guards and didnt have any scrub issues. if u want we could trade, ive got 17x8.5 and 9.5, +45 and +38. worth a shot even tho im not really interested in 18's.

i found even with the front on medium and the rear on hard it was still a bit understeery, i changed the front to soft and it feels great, pretty oversteery which id assume would be the best balance for autocross. thats what works best for me and thats with a r32.

yep very tough looking rim, personally i rekon they would look best on a r31 or dr30 etc, suit the old school lines. should fit over smaller brakes, they fit over my rear brakes but my 4 pot m-spec brakes at the front they needed some small spacers to clear them, i was running them with 25mm spacers and sat very tough but i guess u could run them with smaller spacers if u wanted to. as i said for an extra $100 i can supply spacers.
