  1. my clutch and diff.
  2. yeh well if nothing else it was a proper shakedown of the car to see what fails and really nothing went wrong apart from the heat from the turbo putting a hole in the boost controller tube which im now going to fix.
  3. haha showza apparently recorded one of my lap and he says it was 1:40 or soemthing which sounds about right. that was the 2nd session where i was half throttle on the straights to stay behind a corrolla as i was trying to get used to having no brakes. later on i was going full throttle down the straights and also got used to the track but still had to back off REALLY early to give my brakes a rest so the time wouldnt have been affected heaps. for the first 2 laps as long as i didnt push it too hard i had better grip, but u could see as the tires and brakes just deteriorated the guys in front would just start leaving me for dead so i would be really interested to see how i go with some good brake pads and semi slicks.
  4. yeh... so?
  5. haha fun day, brakes died straight away and left me with barely any braking coming into the corners, tires were terrible and understeer was shocking, then boost controller got a hole in the tubing which meant i couldnt hold the throttle open other wise it would boost 15+psi, then rear tires went and meant the last session was just me sliding everywhere. but it was fun and pretty happy with how the suspension and engine held up, now just to replace: tires, brake pads, clutch and diff.
  6. im not cheap, lol oi what time do u have to be there?
  7. new pic of them on my car. look really tough on my car and perfect fitment on the rear.
  8. spend $30 on tablets and save $10 in fuel, sounds like a winner there.
  9. meh who cares, different cars for different uses, seems kinda stupid to me if u buy a GTR and all ur worried about is how fast it will go in a straight line.
  10. haha that ads been around for ages now, that footage of it at goodwood was good tho. i only saw pics up until now.
  11. haha well ill see how i go then, last time i touched the brakes was when it was freshly imported which was over 1 and a half years now, and tires have shit traction being old, i think ones got a puncture too haha i think ill take it easy on everything as i just dont think its ready for much stress yet lol
  12. exactly
  13. if anything i was helping ur sale showing that u can roll ur guards without worrying about paint cracking. yeh no worries any time. are the rims sold yet or not?
  14. yeh that $20 could come in handy down the track haha nah, f**k it, its only a 20 box, go for gold. im gonna have a crack, as long as i dont put my car into a wall ill be pretty happy.
  15. not necessarily, i rolled mine myself with 18 year old paint and they didn't crack at first, even now that have only just split open on the inside, nothing a quick touch up wouldn't fix (if i could bf'd), i didn't use a heat gun. a proper panel beater should be able to roll ur guards without them cracking the paint, if they are good enough they can even pull them out a bit without doing damage, just depends on the shop.
  16. haha theyll fit on the front, might sit in a bit on the rear though
  17. price change, i forgot to change the price from the copy and paste job i did from another item for sale (for the template), sorry about any misunderstandings, i farked up
  18. will need 10-15mm spacers or so to clear the front brakes.
  19. Item: Genuine Modena 3pce Lightweight Jap Wheels with Tires PCD: 5x114.3 F: 17x8.5 +45 with 225/45 R: 17x9.5 +38 with 245/40 i can throw in some 8mm spacers for free and some brand new spacers for the front, either 25 or 30mm for an extra $100. see this thread for tyres which can come with the wheels: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Sa...le-t181837.html Location: SA, can post anywhere Item Condition: Good, fair bit of gutter rash but seem to be straight, slight leak in one of the rears, expected to be the valve stem, should be peanuts to fix if u wanted to. Reason for Selling: looking to change Price and Payment Conditions: For the wheels by themselves $600, if you get the tyres and spacers i can make them $500 + tyres and spacers, throw me a PM and we can work out a deal. Extra Info: These were brought in from Japan on a r34, they weigh less than my URAS NS-01's and are wider which suprised me alot. Will consider a swap for some other rims similar to these, not sure what im after yet, just feel like a change. Pictures:
  20. compeltely depends on the recording, obviousl the closer u record to the source of the problem the more pronounced its going to be. when u stand at ur engine bay u arnt very close to the engine, really need to hear it in real life.
  21. i would be very keen if i would be welcome as im obviously a noob at both drift and grip on the track.
  22. if u lower the car the camber will increase, the rear moreso, ull need the camber kits to correct this camber. i ended up just going with the rear camber kit and caster bushes as i was on a budget, im about to get it all aligned, but at the moment i have just the shocks, king spring lows and sway bars and the car feels pretty solid around corners and still comfortable on the streets, very happy with the products. cant wait to feel it with the rear subframe bushes in and rear camber and caster aligned.
  23. +1 just appreciate the car ffs, dont need these RB20 is gay type posts looks good mate btw.
  24. it went straight into my sig on ns.com
  25. what u think cops dont go off their head to aussies, only to asians? u cant always attribute behaviour like that to being racist, it happens to everyone, nothing to do with race.
