try playing around with ur igniter module, play with the plugs etc and see if it makes a difference when its missing. better yet if uve got a mate with a RB chuck theres in and see if it makes a difference.

so for a while, ive had this wierd grinding that has come on and off here with a strong humming. lately it has got worse and worse, so eventually i popped the boot and listened to it on idle and as i thought it was coming from the pick up where the fuel pump is. now i had just recently replaced a f**ked stock one with a bosch 040, even had it installed by boostworx whos a very reputable shop in SA, so its left me puzzled as i have bever heard of one of these failing before. now ive gotta go have a look for the warranty papers

omfg cant manafacturers just pick 2 random letters for a engine family ID anymore? its just a 2 digit combination they use to ID the engine from other Nissan engines, not this race bred or repsonse balance shit.

havnt smelt any fuel since fitting a temporary exhaust on which has too large mufflers, so it seems it was to do with the straight through exhaust.

finnally installed an RB25 turbo to my RB20 after seeing it reccomended alot. definately feels laggier, but i rekon alot of that will go by putting a decent exhuast back on (went from 3.5 staright through, to stock). up high the difference is massive, boost is smooth and really strong once u get the RPM a bit, alot stronger than the rb20 turbo up high.

contact a guy called Kristian (Iron Chef Imports) off ns (and maybe on here) he deals with helping alot of people get cars in and knows his shit. basically u apply for SEVS approval like in this thread: http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums/index.p...howtopic=171649

Hey i have a few rims for sale, bought a few a couple weeks back, but realised they were 5 stud not 4 stud when i got them home, so my mate with his S13 couldnt use them. they are 5x114.3 and 15x6. All rims come with great tread, they are 205 Potenza III's i beleive and there is a tonne of meat left on them. Looking for $100 for the lot, i figure thats very fair, u could even buy these if u just wanted some good 15" tread and still be getting an absolute bargain. Pics: they are covered in dust in this pic, they actually come up nicely with a hose down, although IMO i rekon they'd look best painted black. pics dont really show how much tread there is left Located in SA, but will post anywhere.
