the wall was like a foot high and i went through it not over it. originally i thought the wall was 2ft high and i went over it after i had the crash. just shows what happens to ur mind when u are in shock.

yeh but if the chassis aint bent then it isnt a problem. if its just scratched up a bit then it doesnt really matter.

wow, a 7 month bump. scooter is back on the market again, scooter has seen very little k's since the rebuild, only the occasional run to keep the engine clean and healthy. but yeh accepting offers around the 1300-1500 mark

yeh pretty shitty, saved up since i was 12 to have it writin off a few months after buying it owell what can u do, hopefully its not much to repair and i can keep it. if not here comes a R32 GTE or GTS with a RB25 lurking, lol.

ok i have recently crahed my r32 Gts-t and wondered what my options are and what people are willing to offer. this is definately not certain as im hoping it is not a write off. basically i went over a small wall and f**ked my front left up. suspension is f**ked and the top of the chassis rail is grinded a bit. not sure if there is any other damage. so yeh what would u think it is worth as a package, and how much could i make in sell the wreck it and sell off parts? need to know my options. cheers

i shud enter my pig wudnt mind getting it on the dyno, wud be aiming for the 180kw region by then. but yeh, not edzactly show car material, and thats why i love it

mine - before i got my suspension basically a can of enamle black for $9 and taped the lip of the rim.

no the laws have to take into account all on the road and create a meduim. "why cant we go faster and the others go slower" i hear u say, well how safe cud it be to have some cars going at 100k's and some doing 50k's all in one zone, it would be absolute kaos. u then have to take into consideration people making mistakes and changing lanes into a lane which has a car going 100ks while ur doing 50ks etc. its just plain stupid.

yeh exactly, nothing wrong with a bit of twisties, but the high speed stuff is when shit turns bad.

spotted a white r32 4dr on south road about 3-4pm.

i dont know what u guys thought, but IMO the roads where a little too high speed, needed more twisties and at a better time. by the time we got to the twisties just before TTP on north east road there was mass traffic and no real chances to get some good corners in. pulled over for a few minutes to get some space ahead but the traffic was moving so slow we caught up to them within a minute but yeh, im just worried that with these high speed roads that it gives idiots a chance to be idiots overtaking people etc. we had a chat to that guy who pulled out from behind me after slowing off the pack to get some space up for some twisties, and almost hitting another silvia coming in the other direction after passing me at the wrong time and not being able to pull in anywhere into the pack. last thing we need is another skyline cruise tradgedy.

is the turbo s1 or s2?

STFU and do the limit u fool. the speed limits aint just for driver skill, they take into account that in order for the car to physically stop in time u cannot be doing over a certain speed. unless ur super dooper driving skills cant make a car stop quicker (some situations this is true - granted) i have also got caught in excess of 10ks over the limt and i accept it, i knew the rules i chose to disobey them, well not really i didnt have a speedo so i didnt know what speed i was doing, but it was my fault for not getting it fixed. cop it on the chin and let it be a lesson.

this may have been covereed before, i searched but didnt see anything really. i have recently seen an RB30 turbo for sale and it got me thinking, can one of these be fitted to an RB20? i was thinking of just going RB25 with a Bosch 040 but would like to see what the RB30 turbo would be like. opinions.

yeh ud get that bias considering its a skyline site. realistically the 1Jz is probably a better engine than the RB25 in general, not the RB26 i dont rekon. Very strong engines with tonnes of torque, thou not fantastic on fuel (from what i have been told).
