  1. is the NA r32 4 stud pattern the same as the s13's stud pattern?
  2. also im assuming: prod. M/Y means when it was made? yet it has M/Y: 8908 which id assume it means August 1989 but its kinda round the wrong way.
  3. ended up getting 400k's, then filled up. probs used about 45-50 ltrs. that was with a 2krpm idle and a on/off miss firing 6th cylinder.
  4. ^^cheers for that. i have got the feeling that it is a vacum leak, as it really happended after i got it back from a dyno mechanic. im thinking they may have fiddled around with things and maybe left a hose or something loose or somthing
  5. 3/8ths of a tank left and have got 280ks so far.
  6. oh and when i mean its reving up and down, i mean its as if u put ur foot on the accelerator, drop it off, put if back on etc. not just slowly changing. like if i met u at the lights, ud assume id wanna drag u
  7. have tried cleaning the AFM, cleaning the solenoid, replacing the solenoid. starting to think its a vaccum leak. bit of a noob question, but where the feck is my O2 sensor?
  8. also, could someone do: 6U9000HCR32019136 cheers
  9. this is the problem, i have just a stock boost gauge, but from what i have seen it is pretty acurate(it shows the same amount of boost as shown in my dyno print out - 11psi)
  10. yeh sorry, got that mixed up. will edit the title
  11. just received a bleed valve which i beleive is the one shown in this thread i need a bit of help installing it, i got a breif run down by the previous owner but he also seemed a little unsure of which way goes on which. so could someone please give me a run down of which hose goes on where? heres a pic of the unit:
  12. a while back when i got my car it started with this annoying idle where it revs up and down between 1-2.5krpm. to combat this annoying noise i lifted the idle to around 2.5krpm and it would just stay there. i have tried a few things like cleaning the AFM and cleaning/swapping the idle controller over. cleaning the AFM didnt do shit, then tonight i have figured that im pretty sure its not the idle controller. so yeh any ideas to try?
  13. ^^wonder if theyd give me a discount from doing work experience there oh and on the freak engine, i have heard a few cases of cars with everything stock pulling unusually high figures and not being able to see anything non-stock. like i said, i was told it could be one, personally i dont think mine is one. only thing is even mark from turbo tune said, and i quote: "its a good one" in response to my question about why it pulled such high figures.
  14. i was going to come to this cruise but had a late night before hand and didnt wake up untill after the start time. very sorry for all invloved.
  15. ^^lol yeh not the greatest set out. hopefully the next dyno day will have AFR print outs so i can get a more accurate look.
  16. for the amount of people saying keep the stocky, why do i hear majority of skylines with a BOV. right now im running 11psi with a rb20 stocky and its fine, and doesnt have much noise and doesnt seem to struggle with the extra boost. i get the feeling ur after the noise but dont want to sound like a geek, if i was to get one id go the GFB style ones, i rekon i could put up with the sound, but if i got sick of it id jusy turn the bitch down(stealth and deceptor that is)
  17. ill get looking at the ECU
  18. yeh, i missed the last few dyno days but will have to get along to the next one.
  19. so what do i look for when looking for the chiped ECU?
  20. are they that good? from what i have been told its too lean. Mark from turbo tune didnt say anything about it so im not too worried.
  21. alright, i have firestone 205's and when booting it will loose the rears when i hit about 5krpm, then into second they keep spinning for a second or 2. dunno if that gives u an idea of how much power it feels like. it feels alot faster than my mates CA auto 180sx, and faster than my brothers statesman which is about 125rwkw.
  22. yeh I don't think I have this "freak engine" but I just want to find out why such a high reading. The guy at turbo tune(Mark) simply rekons the engine is a good engine. I have already posted a similar topic on ns.com but I figured id post it here as u guys would know more. Here's a link http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums/index.p...opic=157447&hl= as u can see mark from turbo tune replied to my thread I also wouldnt mind showing this, it is marks car for sale which pulls 165kw on the same dyno as mine, have a look at the mods list: http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums/index.p...opic=157348&hl= and that sounds bout a right figure for those mods, so i dont think the dyno could be running that high.
