  1. i dont need to, YOU attacked ME when i was talking about Kuhmos, you're the one that misunderstood me and jumped to the conclusion that i was talking about federals. you f**ked up, i dont have to explain shit. maybe i need to take a few notes from ur book about being clear, i mean after all there was clearly no confusion about the tyres u were talking about, everyone knew u were talking about federals here: oh wait...
  2. obviously whatever i said he took quite hard and sat with him, i sure as fuck cant remember anything. you "mate" fineline is the one that turned this thread to shit with personal attacks, if you've got an issue with thread direction take it up with him. my reccomendation is import some Dulop Direzza Z1 star spec's from the states, some guy got some 235/45 R17's for $250, and that will piss all almost any other road tyre, certainly any tyre sold in Aus, it's only real competitors are the newest offerings from Yokohama and Bridegstone (RE-11 and AD08), im waiting on dunlops replacement tyre as the Z1 star spec's are an old tyre compared to the RE-11 and AD08.
  3. will be quite aggressive, id go a 225/40 on the rear. depends how much camber u have, as it will be tight, but depending on the camber u will get away with it.
  4. if you read back i never mentioned federals, i was talking about KU36's, if fineline misinterpreted or jumped to conclusions that's his mistake. looks like fineline went on a wild argument about something completely separate to what i was talking about, lol. looks like my original statement of option selling the KU36's the cheapest which is what fineline chucked a tanty about, is correct :S
  5. posting pictures like that fails as well, just direct link them, save us sorting through pics we dont want to see.
  6. bahaha, so u guys dont even supply kuhmo? wow how embarrassing for fineline, i almost feel bad now, almost.
  7. are both ur wheels off the ground at the same time?
  8. especially if you're not fluent in Egyptian
  9. sold
  10. i think it's cute how you actually think i give a shit.
  11. wow, you sound like a bundle of fun, bet ur a hit at parties. option garage have been supplying KU36's at rock bottom prices for ages, i thought a nice harmless plug was in order, i personally havent seen them any cheaper anywhere else, even my sponsor cant get them to me that cheap without dipping into cost. but if u know a place that does them cheaper id be glad to hear it. btw im going off his prices here on his site: http://www.option1garage.com.au/NewTyres.htm
  12. this one is similar, couldnt quite get the adjustment the same. http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc89/in...rivewayres2.jpg
  13. yeh sounds like a plan, will start looking out for a 25 box when i get back. cheers for u help man.
  14. cheers guys
  15. it's not easy, as mentioned u need someone to stand on the hub (which u obviously have already done, next step is levering it on, i usually use a crow bar on the sway bar or whatever is around there, but it will slip off the crow bar quite easily, so have a look at what uve got lying around. besides levering it on, i have also used a jack, just put a jack under and jacked it right on the lower mount (usually with a piece of wood in between the mount and the jack) right next to the bolt, until it compressed enough, then just slid it over onto the bolt
  16. dedicated drag, or street as well?
  17. oh, ur one of those guys who puts cheap gear on their car, then carries a grudge against me because i talk about cheap low quality gear, being low quality? and u feel the need to start this shit in here why?
  18. i'm trying to remember why u have sand in ur vagina, but ur going to have to help me out im afraid.
  19. yeh fair enough, i wouldnt bother with a whole recon, was just thinking if maybe if the bearing was all that needed replacing i could get away with it for bugger all $$.
  20. the problem is i dont really want to go drive the thing, but as i was just sitting in my driveway slipping the clutch out in each gear, feeling for some drive, none of the gears made any noise, im sure if once i fulling disengaged the clutch the rattling would come, but just slipping the clutch and getting just enough drive to move the car a few cm's there is no noise in any gear. i dont wanna spend a lot of $$ on the gearbox, but if it's just a bearing or something small, then im happy to pull the box out and fix it, as i said, 25 box is on the shopping list, but no point going 25 box unless the 20 box is gone, afaik there are no advantages of the 25 box over the 20 box besides strength, and if the 20 box hasnt given way, then there doesnt sound like any point in upgrading yet. are the gear ratios the same in the 25 box? quick search didnt come up with anything on that.
  21. had a crack today, has drive in all gears, doesnt even make any noise slipping the clutch a bit in gear (didnt fulling disengage the clutch), only when fully disengaged in neutral. and here's the funny part, my car was originally auto, and it has a auto panel next to the steering wheel, this has never worked obviously being a manual, but since the break the power button comes on, and when i put it in reverse, the little reverse light comes on lol so really, seems the only thing wrong with it is the chronic noise rattling coming from it, and these bits of metal getting caught in the gears.
  22. put simply, these guys are the cheapest.
