  5. dbl post
  6. lol, badge it, then kindly put a GTS badge back on. nah its white. im not as good way, ive interrupted many random convo's like that lol like the redneck who said RB30's were a holden engine, and that nissan got them from holden. cunt looked like he wanted to take a swing, but cant let those things go unsaid
  7. depending on tyre size and suspension setup, they will probably need a roll
  8. nah it's like stock bodied, doesnt even make an effort to make it look like a GTR, just has badges and plates "33GTR" or something to that tune.
  9. yep he lives round my area (daw parkish), ive seen him for around for a good few years, every time i see it i die a little bit more inside.
  10. do i have permission to missile my car into that R33 GTS-t going round with GTR badges and plates "33 GTR" ? seriously every time i see it i wanna drive into the nearest stobie pole and end my life.
  11. why the hell would u want that? fronts will come bloody close to fouling with 225/45's, rears will fit fine with 235/45's. will look like shit however due to the size/offset difference, rears will be around flush, fronts will be sunken A LOT
  12. they are 4x114.3 / 4x100 multi-stud
  13. yeh i have to say i was a little bit surprised too, but remember with the UCA the fouling depends more on the tyre size and wheel offset, rather than the wheel size as it's not the wheel fouling, it's the tread on the tyre, which sits in the same place regardless of wheel width. you should be able to get away with a 235/40 at +30 (will be bloody close tho), so a 245/40 at +25 must just be scrubbing.
  14. ahk interesting, i get mine done at the same place every time, u mean from alignment to alignment, or from alignment machine to another alignment machine?
  15. yeh toe adjustment is just handy to keep things straight if anything goes wandering, will save u long term in tyre wear if its out a bit.
  16. and if u thrash or see some track, then more often than that. i try to get an alignment at least once every few months, and rarely is it still within spec when it gets on the aligner each time.
  17. id say it would probably be better if we got one of the SAU member's R35's for it than just a pic of a random 35 GTR.
  18. swap the whole subframe, dont bother with lock bars if u need to go through any sort of full vehicle inspection as it is illegal. S13/A31/R32 will all fit up directly (all have non-hicas models), R33/S14 will fit up with offset bushes (search yanack) and have improved suspension geometry and will improve rear traction. the problem with going non-hicas subframe's is u lose toe adjustment unless u buy aftermarket items (which are often illegal anyway). my solution was using the standard HICAS arms with the non-hicas subframe http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums/index.p...t&p=4686594
  19. yeh i mean tonnes of people can regas, less people can "recondition" them, and usually only a few can properly rebuild dampers. afaik fulcrum are the only guys who can properly rebuild teins.
  20. regassing dampers is slightly different to rebuilding.
  21. btw are u definite on the offset?
