  1. great pic, imagine if u had a good camera on ya love the pic.
  2. sway bars will do a lot more than strut braces. they perform different tasks, but the sway bars will make a much bigger noticeable difference.
  3. as mentioned they do correct geometry, but only buy them if u expect to use them. most people buy them, set them, then leave them. they need to be setup with ur camber arms to create the lowest amount of dynamic toe changes throughout the suspensions arc, well bump steer. basically cheap generic shit is shit. low quality bearings and poor designs. will wear quickly as well as break a lot easier. this is really the one part you dont wanna be skimping out on. there's a dude who's making quality gear here in Aus, for f**k all $$, ive sent him a link of the thread so he can give u some more details.
  4. tough. if u can get away without flaring then do. if ur not heaps worried about performance, then go a 235/40 on the rear, and 215/40 on the front, and yes, enough camber to just tuck them in.
  5. yeh good, but still needs some tuning.
  6. have a suss here: http://hardtuned.net/forums/index.php?show...=144873&hl= that's got pretty much everything about my car.
  7. nah it's fine, as long as im not bending rails im happy. some people are content with finding a safe level, and slowly working from that, honestly i find it a lot more fun to just go as hard as possible and see what happens. thats why i have tonnes of fun, but it also means u have to expect a stack every now and then.
  8. yeh it's street driven, although might not drive it heaps with the new dents, will attract too much attention til i repair it. public drift prac costs $100, + day cams license (if u dont have one), temp costs $25 i think. private practice days where it's u and around 10-15 other cars (tonnes of track time) costs around $300, G1 costs $165. the rests of the costs depend, for me i go through f**k all fuel, for praccies i use 2nd handies which cost me f**k all, for comps i run newies which cost me $100 a pop and last me all day.
  9. simon P won.
  10. great pics mate.
  11. starcorp wheels kill baby bunnies. think of the bunnies!!
  12. lol never.
  13. yep, or damper, what ever you want. as a package with the springs and seats they are often called coilovers. struts are completely different to what R33's run.
  14. and just for future reference, that's not a strut.
  15. either leverage, or if u cant get both wheels off the ground cos ur using just one scissor jack, loosen off the sway bar link.
  16. i get urs if i win or lose, but if i win, i get the other 3 too.
  17. i get it too man, to a lesser extent tho. ive change a lot of stuff on my car and it's never changed how the 2 sit relative to eachother. thinking it might be a chassis issue, as ive even changed the subframe and it still sits the same.
  18. i fail to see how that's relavent for this example
  19. please send GF's to garage 32. regards.
  20. so that's what hell looks like.
  21. yes, dropping ur car off and not having any input it is possible, still gotta question their morals tho. what they are doing is basically robbery by deceit. if someone got u to donate $100 to their child because they have cancer, even though they didnt, what would u say? getting u to change stuff that didnt really need changing, and charging you costs that they didnt really need to charge you is bs imo. any decent performance workshop wouldnt do this, go somewhere else. also any decent performance workshop would reccomend changing a few things at most at a time to isolate the problem. i guarentee you only a small percentage of the things changed would have contributed a noticeable affect to the problem.
  22. i wanna know who charges $80 to balance tyres so i can setup a store next door and charge $70 and make myself a millionaire. $160 for alignment? bahaha some of those prices look about right, some seem ok if they were top of the line aftermarket gear (although something makes me think they arent), and some seems rediculous, im talking dearer than genuine nissan rediculous, and a lot of those parts i gaurentee you didnt need replacing at all. and the labour was once again, too high for a decent workshop, it shouldnt take them that long if they know what they are doing. overall that was a severe rorting. what was the shop btw?
  23. holy f**k @ the banshee.
  24. ill be there for a skid or 2
