  1. looks better on me tho.
  2. all that is, is nengun talking about the shipping service having insurance, not nengun themselves. just like u buy insurance when sending through aus post etc, doesnt mean the actual seller provides insurance of the product. all they are doing is wording it to make it sound better than it actually is. as far as streeter's policy, i think if he made a mistake and sent u the wrong part he would take care of you, but thats something ud have to ask him. but i think its probably a matter of him not making as mistakes as nengun when it comes to sending parts to start with anyway. exactly. streeter is just a middle man, u choose what u want to buy, and jesse will get it to you, if u pick something which is f**ked, thats the risk u take from buying online, no different to ebay etc.
  3. please for the love of god dont put XD9's on ur R35.
  4. suspension is for pussies, good drivers drive with solid mounted wheels, learn to drive ffs.
  5. have u ever stared at a wall going 150k's an hour sideways? its easy to say its fine to regulate ur brake pedal when everything is going ok, but id like to see that competancy going to work in an emergency situation where u have a split second to act before u hit something at high speed.
  6. did u get a quote from streeter?
  7. lol i was playing around, imho i think ur wheels look terrible, but thats just me, just as im sure u think my car doesnt look the best. but theres nothing wrong with that, each to their own, as long as u are doing it for the right reasons i think its great.
  8. yeh i dont care what "most" people think, but even though its primary use has nothing to do with looks, i do appreciate its looks for what it is, and i like other people whos opinion i respect to like it too. but ultimately the car is my own, and it is for my own enjoyment, and i respect everyone who feels the same about their cars, even if what they do and how they do it isnt the same as me. BUT, what does annoy me is people who arent really passionate about their car, and they are more worried about showing off and making others think they are hektik, they buy the car for the image rather than to actually enjoy, unfortunately this is all too common in the import/car community, and it taints the image of people who are genuinely passionate about their car.
  9. because they will be more expensive?
  10. why would they "have to"? they are both essentially brokers, any freight issues are the responsibility of the freight company, not the broker. u dont have to do anything, im just trying to save u a lot of $$ and at the same time get u to support a broker who for years has been providing a service which is better than any other out there.
  11. so nengun offer full insurance on all their items? seriously, u cant be bothered typing a few sentences to save a lot of money? i can guarentee you streeter's service will always be better than nengun.
  12. we get it, you drift lol
  13. u should be fine with those disk types. the only issue i see is u buying from the wrong fucking person. after all this thread ur still buying from nengun not streeter?
  14. going by ur description of it, no. i value my retinas. i think skyline owners in general just need to grow a set, too many pussying around worrying about the slightest thing.
  15. hammer and clamps, hit and pull. get it as close as possible, then bog.
  16. no worries, ive been looking for an excuse to wear my sailors outfit lol
  17. a face only a mother could love: owned my car for 3 and a half years, spent hundreds and hundreds of hours working on it (no exaggeration), 10's of thousands of $$ on it, made me broke as f**k, made me stressed as f**k. but i f**king love the thing, and i love every time i get into it. u treat a skyline like a grandmas car and it will feel like a grandmas car, get out and use the f**king things lol
  18. its like a fat lady having sex, yes she CAN do it, but ultimately nobody walks away satisfied.
  19. start with the bilsteins w/ stock springs, if its fine then leave it, if its still a bit soft go some lowered springs.
  20. couldnt tell u how long they last as mines not done yet lol, ive had mine for a few years now and has seen many days of drift, including a lot of 3rd gear clutch kicking. it very rarely slips, ive had it slip on me maybe once or twice at the track, and that was after a lot of brutal 3rd gear punishment. mines a heavy duty cushioned button, regretting i didnt go the un-cushioned one now as it doesnt quite deliver the same punch when clutch kicking, but the cushioned is much better for daily driving.
  21. North Terrace Tyres - Penske Sydney Shock Absorbers - Bilstein
  22. exedy through kudos. personally i wouldnt bother with stuff like extreme.
  23. lol i think this might be ur problem: i remember shaun at boostworx, after he'd put my exedy in, im like yeh so how much do u think it had left in it? hes like probably 95% worn, with a lot of clutch kicking marks haha
