  1. farkin devo haha, serves me right for not taking my phone out on the boat haha
  2. well it counts me in i reckon, ill hopefully send u a PM tomoz if im keen for them.
  3. nah didnt, but i reckon i will when i call sydney shocks tommorow hopefully. i grabbed some broken GTR shocks off a guy on here, and ill be getting them fixed and rebuilt, which should be much better for the springs i intend on using. front will still be an issue though, as they are currently well underdamped for teh 6kg springs currently in.
  4. ahk thats still pretty decent, i only rarely get stuff thats near new, and it usually goes within a few hours of me posting it up for obvious reasons. i have had stuff in the past which was basically new, i have no idea why it was taken off, but if u can get a regular flow of them then good news.
  5. cheers for the support guys, it does work out well for me as it means i can buy in bulk and get them cheaper, which means i save on the tyres i use, guess its no real different to someone starting a group buy to save a few bucks for themselves. i wont go any further into it as i think its taken the thread enough off-topic. if the mod wants to delete all the off-topic posts then thats fine by me as i understand its not really needed in this thread. ok i lie, one more thing personally i think thats a bit much, ive sold quite a few near new 18" RE050A's for $100-150 a pair without punctures, fitting should be not more than $15 each from a decent tyre place. still not bad i guess, but theres certainly cheaper around.
  6. cheers mate, yeh definately not a trader lol
  7. yeh, im gonna pay money just so i can advertise a service i provide for next to nothing to members so they can get cheap tyres. if u want, i just wont advertise what i have on here anymore, doesnt worry me, plenty of guys on ns who are happy to buy tyres off me for cheap as chips.
  8. no, i get cheap tyres for myself and mates, and sell what i dont use for cheap. i dont see what the issue with passing on the savings i get to other members.
  9. let me put it this way, the added tyre width will more than cancel out any tiny amount of oversteer bias u might have got from the track change. saying that, personally i would have just pulled ur guards out more.
  10. reminds me of my stockies back in the day: btw, heres a new one:
  11. good on ya mate, maybe if ud opened ur eyes a bit and read ud realise i dont actually give a shit about low balls, doesnt worry me, just letting people know that it is a waste of time. like i said, some people have missed out on tyres because they have tried to get them for cheaper, even when i was clearly firm on price, and even though they were keen on paying the full amount, they missed out because while they were trying to haggle someone else came and grabbed them. its all the same to me, just letting people know how it works if they really want them. yeh fair enough mate, once again, doesnt worry me, if u can get them for cheap then go for it, i know ive thrown in the low ball a few times as well, just letting people know how it works as ive seen a few people pretty dissapointed when they missed out.
  12. ok, then id be thinking less about track change, and more about clearance, what clearance issues are there on the inside? also what gaurd modifications have u done if any?
  13. will depend on tyre size, camber, suspension and guard work. will need at least a guard roll, possibly more depending on the tyre u intend on running.
  14. there are much more effective ways to balance ur cars over/understeer than track changes.
  15. if ur in adelaide have a chat with the boys down in Adelaide Tirepower, they deal with Kuhmos and can hook u up with some Admirals which are made by kuhmo. they are cheapies, but do the trick, i just got home from a full days prac, as well as 4 battles and an expression session last sat, and they still have some tread on them and not a sign of delam.
  16. will be sunken, but swill fit.

  18. never understood why people worry so much about semis etc in the wet, just dont drive like an idiot in the wet, save it for the dry lol
  19. http://hardtuned.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=334752 i just tried admirals and they lasted pretty well, took some serious arse drags as well, and no signs of delam. pressure also has a lot to do with it, make sure u dont run too much. ive always found that if ur gonna go 2nd hand, go dunlops, dunno why but all 2nd hand dunlops ive used seem to last and last without delaming.
  20. from ns (more relavent over there)
  21. haha could have asked anyone whos drifted for a bit and they will tell u potenzas are shocking for delam, owell expensive lesson. what price range are u looking at?
  22. yes and no, u said "especially", which meant including regardless of the price range. they are light, but not crazy light. my modenas weighed less in a 17x9.5, and my 17x9 works weighed less as well, both bought for between 1/5 and 1/3 of the price of GTR wheels. they are a good wheel tho, def reccomend them.
  23. yeh i would only need to know power if i was reccomending a tyre, not wheel. as far u wanting a reccomendation on tyre, thats a whole different ball game, once again depends on ur budget. in 17" u have a few common sizes, 235/45 probably being the most common around that size, 255/45 being the next more commonish size, not a lot bigger than that around in 17's. this is important for drift as ull be going through them pretty quickly. if u went the 235's, id be going a 9.5", bit of stretch to keep the cheaper tyres sidewalls firm, but also lets u go up to a 255 comfortably if u choose to. offset of around +35 will make them sit comfortable, obviously the lower u go the tougher it will look, but the harder it will be to fit the tyres comfortably.
