neva heard the clicking noise before. its like a retarding clicking noise. like sometimes when i go to start it as it trying to kick over it makes several clicking noises in a row. how do i check fuel and spark??

ok after further investigation I may have found the problem but dont know how to fix. under the steering wheel near the fuse box i have another small white 'NARVA' box (i assume its some kind of fuse box) when ever i try to kick the engine over the box makes a weird clicking noise. The box has 4 wires going to it although it has 5 plugs so there could be another wire that may need to be connected but i cant see any. The box is grounded to the chassis. when you remove the grounding wire the box doesnt tick anymore but it still doesnt kick over so im assuming it has something to do with this white box. Any ideas???

I took old stock steering wheel off and replaced with momo item. didnt touch any wiring except for horn wiring so I doubt i could have bumped anything. The car is getting power just doesnt kick over.

Hi guys.I reversed my car into my garage about 3 hours ago to fix up my side skirts and install my new steering wheel and i just went to try start it and it wont kick over. Its soooo close to kicking over but it just cant get there??? any advice or things I can try as I need to get it started before tommorrow lol. Everything was running fine today and there was no indication that anything was wrong so thats why im a little confused. PS i didnt touch anything in the engine bay. thanks in advance

nah drills not in reverse. I might try a sharper screw as yes these ones are pretty blunt. Yes tried using a smaller drill bit but the metal is just screwing up all my bits. Must of picked the wrong place the start drilling. thanks for replys

I have 20mm self drilling metal screws and i am trying the drill these through in to the body to mount side skirts at the rear of the skirt.I am having trouble drilling through the metal and i have a good drill and these screws seem to be struggling. I dont understand cos they are screws designed to go into metal but its just not penetrating??? please help. I have tried pre drilling with a drill bit but the metal is just fileing my bits. Damn tough metal. Anyone??? thanks

cold start tune wasnt done before i took the car. would that explain the stuttering?

got my car back today (r32 gtst with rb25det neo) and as you accelarate in low revs it stutters a bit...almost like its gasping for fuel and then as you give it a bit more on the gas it corrects itself after about 3500revs and revs smooth all the way to the top of the rev range. No its not a miss fire as ive had a miss b4 and this is different. car is pretty highly modded. just got splitfires, and have had gtr pump, 630cc injectors and microtech for ages. Car just had a full tune + remap and it was done by one of the best tuners in aus. not sure whats going on? can anyone shed some light before I call him in the morning? thanks Luke

get ur cooler sorted then do turbo's (has a single turbo conversion crossed ur mind) and injectors at the same time so just have to do one tune.

thats correct. i purchased the shell and motor went a while ago aswell. Great shell aswell. already got my rebuilt motor in it so yeh.

definatly baby it man...esp in this hot weather. What front mount do you have? what exhaust and its diameter?if you have that stronger bottom end you can push boost up more but i wouldnt over do it if your unsure of the components. I'd be doing head work if i was you. port and polish, aftermarket camshafts etc. why the spc...probly woulda gone an eboost if you are going down the ebc route. Good boost controller and assuming you have decent fmic and exhaust should see you into the 11's with a smart tune, good traction and a good driver not you saying arnt haha. You should kill the supra unless he goes and spends 100K. Your car is no where near its potential. wont take 100K but it wont be cheap either. GTR's or any import for that matter will definatly put a hole in ur wallet.

whats a complety stripped r32 gtst (1990 model) with compliance plates worth. someone wants to buy my smahed r32 and use the compliance plates on his car and i have no idea what to charge??? what is a fair and honest price. thanks in advance

what is needed to get this car back on road besides an engine and box which i have already. What condition is the body and paint in? what bodykit is included and has it been sprayed? is the car complianced and registerable. Wheels??just stockies? any aftermarket suspension etc. Please list everything rolling shell comes with. Thanks mate. I am VERY INTERESTED but just need some more info cheers. Is the bodykit painted same colour as car or is it in primer. Is it a straight car with no accident history? is it complianced and registerable? no more than 6ish g's. i have interior, engine, transmission etc so i only really need a bare rolling shell at the minimum. Anything else is just a bonus. Preferably a gtr although i will take gtst if i cant get gtr shell. thanks

R32 GTR or GTST Rolling shell wanted...gearbox and engine not needed. Must be complied/legal/registerable and with minimal to no damage. Must be straight car and no accident history. Who can help a brother out??????? THANKS IN ADVANCE.
