  5. pics as requsted. just took them before. have since given the damage another coat of primer so again it looks alot better than it actually is. to put it into perspective in the pic where you can see my rear wheel (yellow spare tyre) and you can easily see the whole tyre because the guard is that smashed in. well when i had my other tyre on which is 19x10.5 on the rear you could see the whole of that tyre aswell because of the gap that was created from impact. crazy shit
  6. what cars have/would you put an RB25det engine into that works??? i have a heavily worked rb25 and im looking to put it into something but not sure what. GTR or s15 are the first 2 that come to mind but it has to be possible and fairly easy to do aswell
  7. i hope that comment wasn't directed at me mate. I made a simple error in judgement...i would have had insurance any other day of the week but my mate really needed to get somewhere so i had no choice. pics real soon. just about to go take em. Looks alot better than it actually is as i have since sprayed the bare metal with black spray paint primer type stuff. looks good as new lol. i shouldnt be laughing but what can ya do ey.

  14. dont think it will be worth fixing to be honest. they would have to cut the rear quarter out and even then there are very few workshops that are gonna wanna fix a car that has a twisted chassis and bent roof. I think the cheapest option (if you can call it cheap haha) would be to buy a rolling shell and transfer all my running gear over into it as all mechanicals of the car are fine...only major cosmetic and structural damage. And if you think about it..now the car has had a smash its never gonna handle the same anymore....something is always gonna be out
  15. anyone know where to get a gtr r32 rolling shell from (all bits minus engine/gearbox etc) and roughly how much just off the top of your head. I will call my guys tommorrow but i was just after an estimate. thanks
  16. nah cars all safe at my bros gf's house...will get a mate to tow it back to mine 2moz so i can assess the damage. doesnt look good tho and that was in the dark so its not gonna be pretty in day light thats for sure and its not just a simple case of bang it out and she'll be right. chassis plus roof is twisted for sure. im lucky i didnt roll it actually.
  17. thanks guys appreciate all the support. gotta start planning what to do next. Car is drivable...did drive it back to my bro's gf's house as it was close. that was a trek and a half tho. i had to let tyre pressure down so it released my back wheel far enough so it could actually move and even then i could smell burnt rubber from the tyre pushin againt the bent rear guard.
  18. no insurance policy...stupid i know but i had just been lazy in renewing it as i hadnt driven the car for a long time and its all locked up in a secure garage. my fault but you get that
  19. nope insurance wont cover it. im probly just gonna have to source a bare shell and transfer all my running gear over into it as im pretty sure the chassis is twisted and the rear quarter will probly end up costing too much for it to be worth it. possibly a kangaroo but more likely a wallaby up where i live. accident happed in yellow rock which is in the blue mountains, NSW.

  21. as the topic suggest i just crashed my skyline r32 which is pretty modified. Before you's all fry me for driving like a dick i wasn't. had one other person in the car. speed limit was 80 i was going speed limit and went to make a turn up a hill that dips at the crest. just at the top of crest some kind of fkn big ass animal jumps out in the middle of the road so i swerved to try and avoid it but as i swerved i lost it out to the left and ended up on side of road which was dirt/bark etc. Lsd and lost control + dirt road = traction disaster so i tryed to pull out of it back onto road to correct but then i hit a steep rut on side of road which sent me sliding across to the other side of road, up an embankment and straight into a metal pole which hit rear quarter panel only inches from my door. Damage include rear quarter now bent in over my rear wheel side skirts stuffed, front bar stuffed front corner of car eg lights and bonnet stuffed. good news is no one was hurt and there was no damage to my newly built engine pretty pissed off right now but theres not alot i can do about it! post thoughts/comments. Please dont be harsh as im pretty shocked right now and my pride and joy is looking a little worse for wear. just put primer on damaged panels to prevent rust etc. anyone have any other practical ideas i dunno im just a little shaken up right now. will post pics when i take photos in daylight.

  23. yeh i was about to wack some poncams and a new plenum on there to see how that went but now im a little worried i should be leaning towards these engine oil mods first???? should poncams be before or after an oil cooler/new radiator? power at the moment is about 250ish rwkw's but thats still on a light tune that I had from the run in of the motor.   24. Nah its not incredibly laggy i just wanted a bit more of a push back in the seat. boost comes on about 3 and I have full by 4--4 and a half. Maybe whinding up boost should do the trick. It runs 3 stages. 5psi,10psi,15psi. What would be safe to whind it up to assuming I get an oil cooler and radiator and cams/plazmaman plenum? What oil cooler and radiator are a good/reliable choice? and how much roughly? What do you mean by the RIGHT OIL MODS? thanks for response. just feel like ive hit a dead end
