LMAO "A EBC is not required to control boost" haha yeh thats why they call them 'boost contollers' and in my case an EBC is the smarter option. Just fixed VVT on car and ran on dyno again - put out well over 185rwkw's at 3-4psi...no way i am riskin a gated controller with my setup and the guys doin my car agree. EBC is the safe option and the option that will push the most out of my car. "Changing the spring tension in the wastegate actuator can vary the boost pressure. However this method of controlling the maximum boost pressure allows for only fixed changes in boost pressure. Instead of changing the springs, a more effective method of adjusting boost is to alter the amount of pressure going to the wastegate. A Gated Boost Control Valve or an Electronic Boost controller regulates the boost pressure going to the wastegate actuator." Nismoid is a noob.

Big deal...I eat FPV's for breakfast so send em my way for a good old skyline ass kickin ...they are nothing special. I think its funny that they are TRYING to be kewl by getting into the drift circuit (stick to supercars i say) By the way 'DEZZ' wtf is with your pic???

Forged/rebuilt rb25,custom gt35r,45mm ext wastegate, supersonic bov, fmic, fpr, pod Made 170kw @ 3-4psi on dyno run in so i am trying to decide which ebc i will get (hence why i am askin these questions) Electronic is a must for my setup to hold boost, prevent spike etc but which one? I'd probly say dual stage for gated Im leaning towards eboost II cos of its functionality and guage like appearance Do you think eboost II is overkill? Which ebc would you guys get if money wasn't an issue?

---> List your mods ---> Which boost controller is everybody using? ---> gated or electronic - which is better for your particular setup and why? ---> What is the best boost controller on the market for a regular minor modded street car(200kw region) and why? ---> What is the best boost controller on the market for a hardcore modded street car(300kw +)and why? No shit sherlock...thanks for confirming that captain obvious. I think we have established that this is not the car seeings as half the stuff described in the ad isnt there etc. I think we are now trying to work out why someone would waste their time and put up a fake ad with such a lengthy description? Yes school holidays are over but obviously the retards are still roaming free.
-
Haha go Al. i didnt actually think anyone would call him....thats so funny. Maybe he forgot to mention in the ad that it had a bit of civic mixed in with the r34 and the r32 Lol Did he hav an accent or anything? the name jack sounds a little sus to me.
-
Ok here's another thing. He's giving a 'BONUS!' 4 brand new tyres as you are gonna need them to get a RWC for the car. "roadworthy cert ?- YES" WTF And arnt they lovely 16inch wheels the car has...haha
-
Not sure about that but whatever it is....its bloody nice and their is no way its for real. Looks like a model shot only of a car instead of a chick. So whos callin him.....arrange a meeting lol

A bit dodgy? LOL i dont rekon their is one word of truth in this ad. He says it needs a respray but didn't he already state that the photo was taken before it was resprayed to another colour? $1650 For A Wastegate Supplied And Fitted..?
FSTR32 replied to rami's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Mate...are you retarded? What i just said was that i was PURPOSELY being an ass in this topic so that some of you get the point about how f*kin annoying it is when other ppl do the same thing except they are serious! quote - "i am just trying to MAKE A POINT". Wilch partly answered the question...No rami wasn't originally after a big hp turbo kit but i only suggested a turbo kit upgrade becuase i didnt see any point in him faulking out $1650 on a wastegate install when it wasnt even necessary for the mods he had. My suggestion was more of a "further down the track" suggestion if you get what i mean...who in there right mind would unnecessarily spend $1650 for something they didnt need...i know i wouldnt! -
$1650 For A Wastegate Supplied And Fitted..?
FSTR32 replied to rami's topic in General Automotive Discussion
haha...chris is it. well chris, i merely said that i hadnt heard of the 6boost kit (i wasnt bagging it out like you made out i was) thanks for the education and stating the obvious but i'll give it a miss. I dont usually comment on these forums and only feel the need to challenge ppl when i feel that they are bein as*es. Forums are used for helpful discussions...not for ppl to excercise their superior knowledge in a way that makes other people feel inferior. Some ppl on these forums really need to take a reality check, we are all skyline enthusiasts here. By being critical about everything i am simply trying to make a point. Its bloody annoying isnt it...now you know how me and other ppl feel. --------> END OF STORY. -

Un intelligent 4grand...that would be the best 4g's he could spend and who says he cant either a) fit it himself or b) get mates rates The unintelligent money here is the 1650 he was gonna pay for a wastegate install And also....we're missing the point here...Rami hasnt stated a budget so the possibilities are endless 10 points for trying NISMOID All this coming from a guy who LOVES to let mechanics THRASH THE SH*T outa his bomby As* car -

$1650 For A Wastegate Supplied And Fitted..?
FSTR32 replied to rami's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Yeh i can see the difference very clearly....get ripped off buying something that will do jack for his car or spending and saving his money more wisely and gettin a killer setup...gee i wonder which is the smarter approach? Rami never actually said he wanted to spend less money...he simply wanted to know whether he was getting ripped off and what he should do...i hav given him my 2 cents. Dreamers thread? 4g's isnt alot of money for something that is gonna make his car faster...the only "dreamer" in this thread was rigoli bros when they quoted such a rediculous price. They shouldnt need the money, they just gotta go out and steal one of our cars -----> C**TS Regards, Lukas -

FSTR32 replied to rami's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Yeh nice one NISMOID. Your a smart one arnt ya. Ok yeh sure its like $2000 or whatever more that he was quoted but he was quoted for a freakin wastegate install....ive simply suggested that he saves up his money and get the actual parts that a wastegate is meant to support. Rami didnt actually state what his budget was so i am merely giving him some useful info which is more than u could offer. Whether he listens to it is up to him but i hav just gone down a similar path and its definatly worth saving for. Before you critisise other ppl's suggestions why dont you make a useful one yourself. GOTTA LAUGH AT THE FACT THAT YOU THINK YOUR GODS GIFT TO SKYLINES LOL> Laugh that one up NISMOID Regards, Lukas -

Guys.....sooooo sick of ppl gving other (not as knowledgeable) 'posters' sh*t about what they post about. Not everybody knows everything! is it so hard to tell the guy that he is getting ripped off and possibly steer him in the right direction rather than being smart as*es and laughin, wtf? Yeh sure he could go looking in the FI sections but who has time to search...besides, it was a simple question anyway! 1650 for a supplied and fitted wastegate....for starters, look who quoted that price...rigoli bros (LOL) - i wouldnt go within 100 miles of those dodgy c**ts and secondly, for another 1650 you could almost get a wicked GT3040 setup with the works NISSAN SKYLINE R33 GTS-T 600HP TURBO KIT INCLUDES: GT 3040 600 HP BALL BEARING TURBOCHARGER (.70 COMP & .82 EXH HOUSING), TIAL SPORTS 38MM EXTERNAL WASTEGATE, EXHAUST FLANGE, MODIFIED STANDARD MANIFOLD TO SUIT & BRAIDED OIL AND WATER LINES. about 4g's I'd be going down that path if i were you...stuff just gettin a wastegate...go all out son and save your pennys haha. regards, Lukas... -
R31NISMOID clearly has no idea what he's going on about Question for you O wise mr nismoid...put yourself in the guys shoes. What your saying is that you would happily pay for a FAULTY part that was supplied by a workshop? i say your stupid. They'd really be able to milk some money out of you wouldnt they. If you are quoted a price to fix something then no matter how many faulty parts they supply it is at the workshops expense. You say that theres never a quarentee on performance....well there is no quarentee on the cost it is to a business. Any good business factors in possible failures otherwise they are up shit creek when something goes wrong. If you want satisfied return customers you wear your mistakes. My 2 cents
