Now we're gettin personal are we? Look. I ain't here to start a war or shoot down iraq as u said. Since u have the avc-r you should know about it's features and such.
You said anything from blitz is good. And it was just vague, it sounded as if you were a small kid who when pple said there is santa clause, u went around telling everyone that there really is.
I did some reseach on the blitz and i agree it's fantastically good from what i read. So much so that i'm considering getting it instead of the avc-r. If I never try new stuff, I'll never know what's better. Change is important for advancement. Without it, the whole world would be stagnant and we wouldn't have colour televisions and tv's and plasma and lcds.
No, i'm not telling u to use ms dos, but i do encourage linux. It's more complex and it's for the advanced user. Not anyone can handel ssh or telnet or stuff like that. And sometime ago Linux came out with a GUI. The favourite part about linux is it's stable, but more complex.
I personally don't think avc-rs are shit, but again to each their own. I felt tuning it was fun, interesting and i learnt new stuff, eg duty cycle, different settings at different rpms. The avc-r was the best at the time in 1999. Simple as that. And now times have changed. It worked fine as hell for me, with my tuning which took a whole day of fun. Spiked once in a rare while, which is like almost never. And responsive when i need it for more spirited driving. So when pple tell me avc-r is sucky, i believe it boils down to their tune of stuff. The user, not the unit, as the unit is not as intelligent as the new SBC 3 and needs a lot of work to be tuned.
Cheers!
P/s: Regarding my previous post, if u noticed, i'm not one to insult pple. So if u took it as that, then sorry dude, no malice intended.
