They are usually called bixenons... that's why h4's usually cost a little bit more. man! They are bloody bright! trust me, u won't be needing the highbeam much! but R32 are h4's? are u 100% sure? Cause i've got some vague suspicion they arn't. Anyway, If u want bright, 6000k is 2800lm (roughly) 4700/5000 are 3200lm. If i remember 8000k is less than 2800lm. A standard output of a halogen is 1000lm if i remember correctly. A good example would be lookin at the bmw, merc and stuff. Check the links i posted, they have comparison charts. Cheers!

usually it's a universal fit, but i guess it dosn't hurt to ask! =D Cause if the ballasts are good, just invest in a good pair of globes from philips and u're prolly set for the lifetime of the car, if the ballasts don't die that is. =E

Yeah, usually u have to do that, but if ur car were to have a need for inspection, u needa redo the wiring, best is to get a wiretap so that you can take out the hid unit anytime and just plug ur old lights in. =) But there are kits that directly plug into the head of the kit. Cause it's a H1 bulb rite, so there are h1 sized connectors which means u don't have to do any cutting, just plug it into the socket and u're GTG !

He said he didn't give a damn cause all the cars are obstructing the flow of traffic, mine was the last in line so of course first to get summoned, so i drove off, took a drive around, and guess what, only my car and the car infront, a s15 got fined, the rest were untouched. And the rest of the cars were the normal ol holdens and stuff. I swear they are after the imported cars, and being new to the country, i didn't want to kick a big fuss at the bloody police station. So thus, i paid the fine myself. Bloody arseholes. How the hell do you believe the nation to trust them when all the bloody biased bungholes are doing this kinda shit? I'm interested! I've been scouting around. I've found 1, USD 215 for 10 or more and it's a hella ballast + oem Jap bulbs. Another one is MTEC, apparently everyone online is advertising it as japanses made, but i contacted the manufactueres themselves, they are not japanese made, just japansese QC, as they provide for japanese oems. There are differences in the bulbs too from what i understand. Thou pple usually state only H1,H3,H4 and so on, osram website shows a difference in the different bulbs. For every bulb there are 2 models, d2r, d2s. R is for reflectors and S for projectors. The difference is that S will glare the shit out of pple and would definitely get u into trouble sometime or another. There are also problems with the hid bulbs. Back home, i've got friends whom installed hid and the bulbs blow like in a week or 1/2 year or so. Which is not supposed to happen, but of course what you pay for is what you get. They paid $300SGD, for a set which had these conseq. Ballasts are just as important. I've heard stories of crappy wiring that breaks and the shielding tears easily. Example is Kaixen. Koean (i never trust korean engineering =X). I don't know about their QC now but previously they were quite crappy and a non true plug and play system, u had to edit the connectors to fit. I guess at the end of the day, what u pay for is what u get. $700 for a hella ballast and philips bulb. But hey, $200 is cheap! Considering it's about $30+ for shipping from China. There is a white one at an import place, coupe V35GT. I can't remember the name of the import place, but it was not complianced also.

front bumper was gone, and the rear fender was in. couldn't really see also cause it was quite dark + his car was purple or black..

oh there's a note on the window, the police left a name card ?!@?! i don't know man, looked like a name card with the police logo on it. Well at least they know who the culprit is. So there i was walkin over from my parked car to northbridge, i hear tyres squeaaling, too long for a launch or an e-brake... then next thing i hear... Crash. LoL. Some asian (Most likely from china, as i was there when he was talkin to his friends and the police. I'm Singaporean, so i kinda can tell the difference.) did a 180 on a 2 lane road and crashed into 2 cars, 1 car moved backwards and hit the rear, so total of 3 cars damaged. So the cops were just round the corner, rushed over, and he tried to escape. DOH! LoL. Stupid ass knew better than to do this kinda shit over at northbridge. But at least he had some brains, and he stopped after a while. So if u thought parking ur car by the road is safer as u won't get badged, due to the high flow of traffic or coined. (well coined is higher as pple can just walk past and coin ya). Think again. LoL. Heaviest damage was done to a mitsubishi magna. The s15 had a personalised numberplate. ZBR ***. All letters. I heard that the r33 skyline seat layout is similar to that of the s13. Meaning, a set of fitted rails on a seat would bolt straight onto a r33 and vice versa. Is this true?
