  1. Covered so many times before. Try the search function, a lot of remedies there.
  2. If you've got the cash, go for a jim berry clutch, haven't tried one, but have only heard good things about his clutches. Do a search, and you'll find out how to contact him.
  3. i rekkon take away his lisc for the next 10 years !!
  4. Spacers are a car's worst enemy, no matter what anyone tells you. EG: It bolts on, to your hub.. bla bla bla.. There's a reason why rim manufacturers make different offsets, to suit different needs, and not just chuck spacers on them to sell. There was this lexus @ the autosolon.. some of you might remember it... his front wheel flew off while driving cause his so called forged spacer bolted onto hub gave way. Luckily he was only driving at low speeds, if not.. GG. I rekkon, get rid of the spacers. my 0.5 cents worth.
  5. Although if i'm not wrong, if you want a high load pressure plate, you could upgrade your clutch hydraulics to make it more effortless.
  6. What he said ^^^^. I had a xtreme 9 puck cushioned ceramic + 950kg pressure plate + 5.5kg chromolly flywheel installed. After running in, the weight is just like stock, and just a tad bit more bitey than the standard. Oh yeah, installed by Ross @ autoclutch.
  7. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=114619 This should give u a rough estimate of price.
  8. Madness.
  9. You must be kidding. Is that even possible with such mods? I find it hard to believe man. As bubba said, must be a very generous dyno.
  10. Prior to Perth Race brakes. I've got Ferodos in them at the moment, so now just looking around for a new set of rotors. Neil has quoted me a decent price, so i'm going with him. The sqeual might be due to the absence of the shim plates. I need to go grab me a pair for the fronts. Nissan ones go for like $65. I wonder if i can get anything cheaper. Rofl.
  11. rofl. anyway, new brake pads, flush, and soon dba 4000 rotors. Nothing impressive mate. So not much of a setup !! hahahahaha. I had my old brakes replaced about 4k ago, and the workshop that did it, screwed me around. When i tap my brakes the steering wheel will get a shudder, only when tapping. And it braked like a sissy, although the workshop guranteed me that it's made of kevlar bla bla bla.. stops better than most pads. #@$@#$, it cause a minor accident with an evo 9 resulting in 2k repairs. And then the workshop claimed i can't drive, that's the reason why i can't stop in time. WTF. Best thing is, if i remember correctly, the gts-t brakes came with shim plates. The workshop prolly threw it away, and my brakes squeal like a pig too.
  12. As above ^^^^^^^ Rofl. Oh yeah, he knows his shit too.
  13. Just had my brakes done at Perth Race brake, and i have to say, i'm super happy with the kind of care and attention Niel pays to his work. Top bloke!! I highly recommend him to anyone who needs to get their brakes done. And his prices are reasonable!!
  14. Covered many times. Try doing a search.

    Hey

Try reading this. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...798&hl=tofu And tell me if you can really afford all those happening to you + extra. No offence tofu. Murphy's law always applies. What can go wrong... will go wrong.
  16. rofl. Learn how to drive the car. Then mod it. Too many people have totaled their cars within a short time of owning it. P/s: As R33 GTS said, know what you want to do with the car. Then work your way from there, also understand something called $$ constraints, and possible $$ constraints in the future. 1 very important "mod" ... full comp insurance.
  17. britney spears - hit me baby one more time.
  18. fug u ... you don't know how my arse...
  19. replace it with a stocker !!
  20. That sounds like a really good price! That's from tyre power wanaroo? I did some scouting previously when i was considering btw 18's and 17' rims. In the end i went 17's for the lack of dough. It was $150 for 17x235 45 and $170 for 17x255 45 delivered for KU31's. Rang a few places and couldn't get a good enough price to match that. Cheers for the info!
  21. What price did you get for the KU31's ? The last i checked Ku31 with tempe was about $190 EA delivered. for 235 40 18s. Sorry if my memory fails me, but i think that's about the price i got. Give them a ring, seriously, i highly doubt locally, the prices can be beaten. Oh yes, haggle a little too.
  22. Tempe tyres has the best prices imo. Just need to wait for them to ship the tires over. and get it fitted urself locally. Bridgestone, bentley does some pretty good prices. So does weststate in east perth.
  23. I'm in ! err... will bank you now. EDIT: couldn't find ur bank details here. oops.. could u pm me ur details so i can bank you the moolahh? Cheers
  24. Thrust Ti-R is worth every penny. Sounds good, light as hell. My friend paid about 1.6k for a EVO 9 Ti-R, soooo it's around there i rekkon.
