Nissan ( And Others..) Parts Clearance
R34_T88_Widebody replied to R34_T88_Widebody's topic in Tasmania
Hey Toffy, Some parts have gone already, but there's plenty still available. you'll find them at this link. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...showtopic=95374 cheers, J -
buddy I'm wrecking a full GTR R32 down in Tassie. Call David Griffiths on 03 6278 8418 and ask him if the black GTR he's got in his yard has the parts that you need. then, if you are prepared to offer a reasonable price, i'll get it sent up to Melbourne. all too easy. cheers, Jeremy

Hi Jonathan, A/C was working fine according to condition report, but of course it has been de-gassed as per all recent imports so you'd need to do this. Ran the car for a short stint prior to commencing the wreck so there were no apparent problems. you could call my mechanic ( David Griffiths from Griffiths Performance Autos) on 03 6278 8418 - he'll give you the run down on as much of this as he can. can also get most of this stuff delivered pretty cheaply too. cheers, Jeremy

Hi Dan, I spoke with guy who painted my GTR ( which also helps to show one of the colors, this is the green, although it's also had a pearl run through it), and he said that 9 times out of 10 a 4ltr tin will be sufficient to get an R33 done. He used 3.5ltrs in doing my car ( note: basically overspraying everywhere but NOT engine bay) which was grey to green, and 2.5 ltrs on his own car ( also shown in the photo), which was blue to purple. He recommended using a cheap base coat, then this metallic acryllic over the top, then applying the 2-pac clear. Not sure if this helps, get back to me if further detail needed. cheers

Hc33 Laurel Rb20det - $4000
R34_T88_Widebody replied to R34_T88_Widebody's topic in For Sale (Private Whole cars only)
Hey there - not entirely sure - my guess is between $900-1200, but it would remiss of me to just expect a buyer to take this without knowing what they are up for, so I'll get quotes and post them up. cheers, J -
budget?

You have PM.

Hey all, My best intentions of making a cheap Drifta have come to nothing. Seems my ambition and stupidity exceeds my willingness to do anything about getting this project underway. Car is a 1989 Nissan Laurel RB20DET auto, white in color, burgundy suede interior in immaculate condition, factory alloys with a spare set of alloys, very good clean condition throughout, power steer, windows, mirrors, air con, central lock, cd player, pilarless, Clean and reliable car, drives very well. Has 136K klms - looks every bit genuine, and car has clearly been well maintained and driven gently. no mods, and comes with service history and owners manual. Not complied as yet. RWC would be easy. May consider swaps / trades - please PM if wishing to do this. only if you are offering car of equal or lesser value, and are prepared to comply and rego yourself. ****** interstate customers - please make your own enquiries about compliancing, rwc and rego - happy to offer you a very cheap car ( check out the prices of all other Laurel, Cima, Ceffy, etc getting around - even the autos - and you'll soon agree), but if you are genuine about buying then you'll answer these questions for yourself in advance. Cheers, J

Guys, We seem to be having communications problems here.... I did not state 'trade price', I stated 'retail price'. There is and should be a difference. Still, if trade is $425, and I'm selling at $400 obo, that would suggest it's below trade price, right? So you're point is? As I am sticking by my original quote on 'retail' price, and we now have a posted 'trade' price, may I ask other members to ensure that future posts are of relevance? SirSkyline - thanks for the pricing, and I do appreciate this as it helps to give more clarity for other members, but please don't suggest that I was stating trade prices when I wasn't. Irrespective, my prices still look cheaper.... Now, for someone actually genuinely enquiring about the product, would be happy to hear from you........... Cheers, J

Thanks RomkaR31, Seeing as you are posting this and not by PM, the general SAU community may appreciate it if you also post who is giving you ( and the general public) these quotes so that they can take advantage of this, or alternatively make sure that I provide a competitive price in response. So whilst I chase up the orange, what's say you post those contact details for all SAU members to utilise should they wish? Once you've done that, let's take this to PM.... Is this for your respraying your smashed 32 GTST? or did you sell that? Cheers, J
