Hi Guys, I myself have never seen the car. When imported, I was told that it was RB25DET. As for the 'out of R33' - this only refers to the 5spd, not the engine. I guess the only way to find out would be for me to get an engine number. Personally, I would have thought that the dyno figures ( done by a company I have never had any association with - they were simply near where the car was located) would suggest that there is no way it could be RB20DET. And why anyone would stick an IHI C7 on such a small block. STill, you guys are the techos, so feedback welcome. In the interim, why don't I get an engine number....Oh, as for the earlier postings, I thought that R32 had optional RB25DET fitted from 92/93. cheers.

Car entered the country with proper Vehicle Import Approval ( which I still have....), and even had the engineer's report completed after the work was done. However, the compliance agent did not apply for the plate from DOTARS, so I was left with a car that was supposedly complied ( although I am not suggesting that it be road registered - please see my initial posting) - probably best suited to parts I suppose. Just not suited to my mate's garage, where it has sat for 3 years. Price - $16000
