Hey there,
After a set of coilpacks to suit an R32 GTR. My car is in the process of being sold, so I don't need great aftermarket stuff, just something that will get the job done.

Hi mate - it's not the rarity that one would doubt, it's more the price. The three that I have looked at are priced at $19K, $22K and $23K. All with lower klms? You interested in a trade for a 95 NA 5spd Supra? if so, PM me....

do you have original import pictures to show car with GTST wheels and black front bar? just curious as to why a car would go through a Jap auction or a yard in this state - normally they are the risky discards ( Grade X or Grade ***) that sell cheap for a good reason.....
Why were turbos removed? Why was exhaust removed? And - more importantly - why did whomever removed these not see fit to reinstall them?
If this car has failed compliance, then my understanding is that evidence needs to be supplied via the RAWS workshop back to DOTARS that the vehicle has been destroyed. at least this was the requirement a couple of years back. not sure what the full legalities are around this, but I suspect that it cannot even be used for a track car (which I am looking for), simply because it must be crushed. I believe that you can remove parts however. assume you can also sell it to someone to do the same....

sheesh mate - gather you're saying you can't claim warranty on the rebuild due to the rev limiter issue? However, what are the legalities around this car having been disposed of (to you) in such a manner - is there liability on someone's part here ( not yours obviously). Seems like you've been dumped in a fair mess there ( also, $4800 actually seems on the cheaper side for an engine build - I had one done, the R32 GTR's are shockers nowadays...and it cost me $6K or so).
anyway - hope things work our for the best for you here.

B-Man - some members seem to be getting confused as to what you'll pay. I'm not so much confused as curious - but wouldn't ya help us all out by telling us what you will pay, as opposed to what you will not pay? Saves an awful lot of junk posts which are destined to go nowhere, and only bump this thread unreasonably ( in much the same way as I am doing, but hopefully SAU-wide posts like this are acceptable).
For what it is worth, I have a set of 4 Technocast rims ( don't have photos) that came off my GZ TT aero. They are 16's, and I suspect between 8.5 - 9.5. All in excellent condition ( not that that matters given your application for these rims), and I can courier a pair of these to your door for $250.
May also have some spare 17" Manaray RS-6 Hypers ( nice wheels) - have a full set but one is buckled, could do these for $320 for the whole set to your door.

suspect the offset is around +45.
used to house 255/40's which have gone to god.
can courier these to wherever it is that you are for $350 ( wheels and freight total).

a friend of mine has destroyed clutch and transfer case in his 350Z - but not sure if he can get the stuff here locally. has been quoted $4K ex Japan for supply and fit, and is hoping to find better alternatives.. please PM if you know of any wreckers who may have R35 parts, if they are appropriate.

Can anyone here tell me where in the greater Adelaide area I can get both an R32 GTR, RX7 Series 4 and a 300ZX TT ( 2 seater...) complied under 15 year rules ( have import approvals, just never got to complying them), and what the approximate cost would be?

I've actually just been told that the front bar is A1, but that the rear bar will need a little bit of TLC ( not because it is cracked, but because it is likely taken from a mold that has done too many replicas in its time). Therefore, buyer would need to factor in some extra prep time to get this fitted.
As a result, I'll do the front bar and the rear bar AND SIDE SKIRTS ( also aftermarket, and need TLC as above) for $475 for the lot. Just take em!!!
Rear Supra Veilside Wing - needs a fair bit of TLC due to splintering - $150.
Metal GT wing - $125.
