  1. if its going to be lent on hard then i probable wouldnt... but thats just personal preference.
  2. the previous owner of the car before you could have thrashed the hell out of it, but then u'v babied it but the box is still on its way out. bigger clutch will put a little more strain on the box (aswell as other things) does it grind when upshifting or downshifting? (2nd to 3rd, or 4th to 3rd)
  3. getting them moving without alot of money can be hard, but try grabing a rb25 turbo, and put 12psi through it. it will bolt on to the manifold you got now, dont worry about cams for now. your first list of things to get should be like...eg rb25 turbo FMIC fuel pump Clutch Piggy back ecu Tune that should get the old girl moving a little better. if you want more, then ul look at a bigger turbo setup later on.
  4. open it while they are waiting for you to pay, you only need to glimps inside to make sure its what you ordered... but i spose, anythign can happen, id rather COD then up front. if they got Paypal then its a little bit more secure, but it doesnt help if the item breaks after 1min of use or if it just doesnt line up properly. everythings a gamble. buying from HKS/Greddy/Tomei is also a gamble as it mighten fit right, but g's...its far less of a chance that the item wont fit then if you bought off ebay... its all about buying from trusted company's.

  10. smaller filter usually just means you'l get oil pressure quicker, dont think it gives any other real benifit or disadvantage...
  11. yeh go and buy all the parts you want... BUT, dont expect anything to last or perform aswell as properly made products... some items would be ok to buy, but the turbos stay away from!!
  12. how long would it take to change the springs? like once its installed on the car? or you cant..? :S (no idea about gates lol)

  15. your getting taken for a ride if your going to pay anywhere near $1200 for new injectors...
  16. has anyone got pics of a GT42R under the bonnet of a R32 with a 30bottom on it...? (has to be 30 bottom becuase of the height difference) i can grab a brand new 42R for a good price (veeeery good) and im just wondering if il have enough room between the strut tower, tappet covers and the bonnet.   19. sounds like a FMIC pipe has come off, but if that was the case it wouldnt drive normally, ud notice a loss in power...

  22. Warning to anyone... if you call jim berry, make sure you got some time to chat! lol. (as everyone told me) he is making me a custom one now after i get the clutch then i can get the engine balanced things move so slow with bigger engine builds CJ
