  1. I went to Lander spare parts with my Vin and it worked straight away. Build date April 98......Leather was factory. So I have a series 3.5. He said the software on the net is old and not updated.
  2. Opps, I stuffed up :nowigetit:. I had 22 instead of ZZ in the model, does it work now???
  3. I've seen inside my box and there are still the same amount of syncros, they do have three keyways and energiser springs tho instead of 1..I think thats correct, I'll check again tomorrow. So the BCNR33-043388 works but not my 043389.. can we punch in 043388 and my model GGJPRWFR33ZZA-EQ-C to get some more info>??? thanks heaps for all the help so far. =)
  4. Ok, cool. Sounds like it could well be a 98...crazy, can't say I've ever heard of a Series 3.5. Makes sense tho with the weird stuff it has on it, like big sump oil cooler, leather and nismo dials. What is an AUTECH ? I checked as my clutch and box is out and the clutch is a pull type. I'm going to the gearbox specialist tomorrow to check if some parts i orderd for a 12/97 and newer fit.
  5. I double checked and it definately has BCNR33-043389 on the blue plate and fire wall. Maybe checking a few numbers out might give me an idea... ie 043387,043390, etc. According to others my gearbox is the same as a R32 GTR ? not sure how that works. Which part refers to the date of manufacture?
  6. I have a S3 GTR apparently could be a 98...go figure. Having alot of trouble getting parts for the gearbox as it is different to all other GTR's for some reason. The car has factory leather also...weird. I also have a 56K issue. Could someone help me Pls. =) here are all the details I could find E-BCNR33 Chassis BCNR33-043389 Model GGJPRWFR33ZZA-EQ-C (changed) FS5R30A (Trans type?) RC41 (paint?) thanks matt
  7. he is not asking for money up frount, if you are fearful about losing your money get one sent COD. Looks ok to me.
  8. I've raised mine to 8.8, as SK does..if not higher. Will let you know how it goes
  9. I waz thinking the same thing, the turbo housing doesn't have that much extra meat so the angle wouldn't be optimal.
  10. I have purchased some 42mm stainless extractors for my RB26. On inspection I found the turbo outlets to be alot larger than std manifold(about 10mm). Feeling inside the std manifold you can feel the deliberate angle to reduce the oulet side. I have 2530's fitted which have an exhuast inlet size 3 or 4mm bigger than the Std housing , but, alot smaller than my new extractors still. Nissan have obviously designed there manifold for higher gas speed. I would have no issue's enlarging the std manifold slightly to match the 2530's however I am reluctant to enlarge the turbine inlet to match my stainless extractors and risk increasing lag... Has anyone been in this position before?
  11. I'm sure there were a few flashes in between our wheel removing idea's...
  12. There is one on ebay here u go http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...4545664117&rd=1
  13. My spec sheet recommends 5w/20 oil. I assume that is for the U.S only as I can't find that grade here. I am confused however if this is quoted for run-in or general use. I thought all run-in oil was monograde... All I can find is SAE 30 for run-in. My pistons have been gapped to 2.5 thou which is recommended for use with Synthetic oil only(read friction modified)..... I'm so confused. help pls
  14. Yep, Has 600hp and NOS now.
  15. cheers
  16. Must be Tein flex, or super street (EDFC compatible) cheers matt 0413023669
  17. I tried Chemiweld 3 times to no avail, silverseal has worked every time however.
  18. damn just paid $1550 for these exact ones

  20. http://www.importbuilders.com/pistoncomparo.html never mind
  21. anyone know the recommended clearance for CP pistons?
  22. cams are easy to do....so wait if you don't have the cash. Go a 3 piece metal head gasket from JUN on greeline.jp site. In the mean time there is a $3 product called silver seal from Repco that actually works! will seal up the leak for a few months given low boost.
  23. that is definately a ceramic wheel, the steel wheel ones have a different bearing housing. The exhaust housing is .63 instead of .48 on the 33. U will probably find the shaft is thicker tho and can still run higher boost.
  24. Ok just picked a some Xforce dumps from CRD for $450. They look really nicely made however not perfect. Where the wastegate pipe meets the turbine exhaust pipe there is a lip instead of a smooth transition. I will be grinding this out before installing. Apart from that they are perfect and come with gaskets. Also the pipe size is 47.5mm and then 50mm a cm down after the flange. fine for my 2530's but no good for 2835 and up.
