    I've ended up buying some Venolia's from CRD. Venolia recommend 3 to 4 thou and .5 variance on top of that depending on engine output. Also purchased some N1 piston ring which apparently cannot be used on Arias. Cost $1550 inc rings. I had a listen to a 34 running 4 thou venolia's and you could ever so slightly here a knock when dead cold. Hopefully 3 thou on mine will not be noticable...will know in a week.

    R32-GTS, how much are N1 rings...can they be sourced from nissan or someone else?? Anyone else had issues with Arias rings?

    I am running a Pro, the main reason being that you can't run the standard power fc (fuel cut) with NOS. The Pro uses ignition cut.

    Why do you need to check the rings? I also have NOS so will the Cromemolly(spelling) rings supplied be ok? 8.7:1 sounds good. Is that the standard for these pistons or an option? I'm looking at 3thou with teflon coating atm... going in on sat, still waiting for some pistons tho do you still have the 33 plates Jerry??

    They make a reasonable amount of noise from factory because of the solid race type lifters, try changing oil first

    What i was really wondering, has anyone made over 300rwkw with the standard dumps and then changed to see a notable difference.     Great stuff, thank you for that info. Can you give an indication on how much teflon coating is? Does it wear off at all?

    Anyone run Arias Pistons at 2.5thou piston to bore clearance?? I've heard it can be done if synthetic oil is used for a quiet engine.

    I have my engine apart at the moment and was wondering if it was worth upgrading the dumps at the same time? I remember changing the dump on my GTST and it didn't make that much difference. I am aiming for 300-350rwkw. cheers matt

    Auto , recon motor runs very well- no smoke at all, no ticking uses no water needs some more rego selling due to upgrade a few small dents here and there otherwise very clean towbar point $1200 neg 0413023669 matt

    The plastic cap on the Suspension top has a tab that sits in a keyway. pointing the dot at the keyway is position 3 then (4,1,2 turning clockwise)

    Thankyou, Is the $1200 to remove/fit the box? I have it out already =). You say that the 98 spec box is $3200...does that mean its a 6speed?
