  9. Double Din Touch Screen. Motorized face. DVD, CD, MP3, VCD, WAV, AM/FM, Bluetooth hands free, TV Tuner, GPS, Windows Media player DVD 10 stacker input(optional) 2GB SD card with Tom Tom and Route 66 GPS software installed. (full voice guilde) Video I have opened the box and tested every function. It is an absolutely sensational Unit. It plays everything I have put into it...even my scatched disks my Apline won't play. Bluetooth is a god send, the facia includes a inbuilt microphone...and automatically sync's to your phone when you get into the car. The GPS function also works very well, the time to first fix is very very quick. The deck runs on WindowsCE. $670 pm or 0413023669 Cheers Matt
  10. ADVAN reccommend Motul Le Mans 24hr 20w60 used it for a while, no issue's, smells nice Have been using Penrite Sin 5w60 lately. Most of the racers at Eastern Creek have been using it aswell, since they change there oil at very small intervals and the price to performance ratio a major factor and it also has good resistance to fuel additives and methanol. I tend to go through my oil every 1000km-3000km with the power level, blow by and rich AFR's and methyl Benzene I run. Have another track day on Sat, will see how the oil temps go. they are usually around 110c max. My car also runs quite rich so I opt for a thicker grade. Value for money I like the Sin, Motul does seem to keep oil temps down a wee bit more, but the only good stuff is the 300V Chrono, Competion and Le Mans..and they cost a bundle. Have also used Royal Purlple, which does everything its says...just not keen on running it continuosly as it has micro polishing beads...maybe every 5 services to keep my bearings smooth. I tend to use it after my run-in oil then switch. At the end of the day, buy the best oil you can afford.
  11. Hey =) It's has been a little while, couldn't resist this friendly town from the hustle of Sydney life...good to be back. Could you please add 'GTR31' to the list for driving. Cheers. Has anyone tried the Pre-mix race, pump fuel from Adelaide Race Fuels (scotts)? I have been using 30% methyl benzene which is a pain to add.
  12. RX8 Series 6, man gotta see what that looks like...lol I have picked up my new front bearings that I destroyed on the last track day...so I'm definately in. So some advise- warm down your car(without stopping) after each session to avoid your bearings welding themselves to there housings....mine looked pretty ugly....$380 later
  13. look bigger than N1 to me, probably 2530 size. I run my garretts at 30psi with no problems (2560R-5)
  14. I've been trying for years to get my GTR to handle like this one....still not there. Very well sorted car.
  15. do you have the auto trams ecu? It should be separate to the engine ecu. Also do u know if it is a five or four speed?
  16. I might try starting with. -return to sump catch can -Triple flow cam cover baffle http://www.mines-wave.com/JP/CATALOG/ENGIN...AFFLE_PLATE.htm
  17. I have the std sump baffle from memory. Sump takes 6ltrs, not overfilled according to my dip stick....
  18. Well the head restritor is one thing I don't have with my N1 pump, I guess the fix for that without pulling the head is an external drain from head to sump.
  19. Turbo's are 3months old Garrett items. The Oil/Air catch can is plumbed back in the intake. Any tests could do to narrow it down?
  20. I attended a track day a Mallala on Saturday, had an absolute ball. I did however have some issue's. -My Oil/Air separator would fill in one 15min session(400ml). -My Atmo BOV's were spitting out so much oil the side of the car was coated. -After a heavy G-force loaded corner(not the straight) a large puff of smoke would come out the exhaust on gear change -My dip stick blew out twice -All of which required the replacement of 4ltrs of oil.\ The car was running 30psi of boost for 40% of the day. I would like to ascertain if my oil control issue's are attributed to blow-by(CP forged Pistons, 1mm oversize valves--with new valve guide's) or incorrect oil/air separator setup for my huge boost levels. I am running a N1 oil pump, big sump and the 1.5mm restrictor in the block has been removed(previously fitted with the std sump). Plans before the next track day so far are. -Plumb my catch can into the sump -run less boost -heat shrink my dipstick to hold firmer(however I think this is a symptom fix)
