I have a pair of Mikey Thompson ET Street Radials R16 50 255 which are one meet old. Enabled me to go from a 12.2 to 11.8 ! They are mounted on 16 " dished japanese made rims which have been sprayed jet black(114.3 five stud GTST offset). There is a whole set of 4 rims. The other two have 80% tread 205's snow tyres. The GT2871R is a very good turbo...will make 250-260rwkw with std lag. The GT3071R is good to, will make 300rwkw with a touch more lag. The GT-RS Garrett equiv is the GT2860R-10

what setup are they suited to and what performance difference did you see?

Mine works very well, however the spout has sealing issues after a while, having a rolled edge rather that a solid style like the PWR ones.

What size is the compressor and turbine wheel? (even if u can just measure the bits u can see) A/R's? Let me know and I'll make a fair offer if they suit.

my rb25 and my rb26's both get 150psi for 9:1cr. 180psi does seem high....

I gather the 2860's are the -10's?

hmmn after seeing a twin turbo RB26/30 with RB20 turbos put out 509hp at 14psi with a fat torque curve I would be interested to see how RB25 turbos would go. From experience RB25 turbos have very similar spoolup on over Rb20 items.

Tomei use garrett turbo's, just pickup a replacement t3 exhuast housing and the rest should be able to be adapted. Contact garrett/honeywell

There would be 20-30hp to be had from a 1.2-1.5bar increase. Maybe 50hp at 1.7bar, but after that efficientcy runs out. Matt in japan =)

ok, HKS2530 and 2860/2560R spool identical (dyno lines covered each other) the garrett has a .5mm smaller compressor wheel and different trim. The HKS exhaust housing is very different to the Garrett. I very much doubt they are the same A/R as the garretts. You can fit two fingures into the garrett and three into the HKS. Compressor cover looks similar....only smoothed in the inlet as far as I can tell.
