  1. Mine has been dynoed at 266rwkw with 95% duty cycle. Standard injectors, Standard A/F meter (runs out of resolution around 4100rpm) Bosch Motorsport pump, very minor porting, Hybrid turbo( with stuff all boost -peaks at 18psi then drops to 13 ) Only one way to find out just how true it is! Drags for me Wednesday night....test out the new Nitto's =)
  2. oh and make sure you don't go to thin as it will crack. Get a pinch measuring tool to check wall thickness. don't go under 2.5mm. Also some of the bumps near the outlet are purposeful to direct the airflow around a the bend, these need to be smoothed rather than removed. Be carefull knife-edging the outlet as a heat fatigued piece of broken metal will kill your turbo in a second.
  3. I ported my manifold, seems to make a difference- couldn't really tell because i changed the turbo as well. Also removed the intrusive port bumps on the exhaust side of the head while it was still on the car. Making nice power for a T3/T4 hybrid. 266rwkw.
  4. My NT555 ZR aren't classed as drag tyres, they are street tyres. The pattern on them looks simalar to any other tyre. And yes they grip better than any other tyre I have used in the wet. They don't seem to need any heat which impresses me to =)
  5. If they fit a GTS-T, I will take them if you will COD to Adelaide, I will pay COD charges to. =) PM if this is ok and I'll give you the details.
  6. Yep, there classed as a street tyre. Hopefully get more life than the semi slicks.
  7. Boost has been reduced(maybe only at the miss point) and fuel mixture is leaner.......only thing thats makes sense.....
  8. yep, waste of time.
  9. Sorry dude, have done 50+ hours of experimenting and design with this compressor. If you understood what I was saying, then you wouldn't worry, if the turbine is matched then it will come on boost around 4100rpm and all will be good. As I said b4 this compressor flows ship tins of air at lowish boost which is great news for chasing big power from an RB25 without having the need to do a head gasket. I was just trying to point out that it would be unrealistic to think this turbo will spool-up super fast as it is just not possible. I think the buyers who own an RB25 would benifit from this information as you have had no experience with this turbo on an RB25. A HKS 3037 on a friends car has made 257rwkw with external gate. Mine with Vtrim 266rwkw and less boost. I cannot think of any other compressor that performs so well. For the money I will go the Hybrid hands down. Hope this clarifies. =)
  10. What other functions does the software enable on a GTST??
  11. Ok what I'm saying is directly from the compressor map, The Vtrim CANNOT be allowed to flow 15psi before 4100rpm or it WILL surge on an RB25. My VG30 has a 54mm turbine outlet..and still has slight surge.
  12. Vtrim is a big Compressor, as long as it "Doesn't" make 15psi before 4100rpm on and RB25 it won't surge. It flows so much damn air the Rb25's just don't want all that air at low revs. My Hybrid has a Vtrim and as you can see it makes massive amounts of flow at low boost.....imagine if I could run 1.3 bar.... Mine needs and external gate for more boost.
  13. Have you had surge problems with this turbo?? You cannot have a Vtrim compressor boost 15psi before 4100rpm on a RB25 without causing surge.
  14. Yep should work ,but, would be more cost effective to buy a Z32
  15. I have had idle problems with 0w XX.
  16. I have the same problem, seems to go away after a bit of driving...
  17. 5v, earth , signal out, signal reference.
  18. I am not sure if the SAFC could compensate enough... Does the SAFC Add both signals or Average?
  19. gap your plugs to .8 or .7mm firstly
  20. the two big pipes that come from the rocker cover both need to go to the catch can. Yes the S shaped hose will make a big difference.
  21. very true.... bob jane allrounders for me !!
  22. I noticed that!, R34 cam looks good 2,
  23. I love em to death, the car is infinately more fun to drive....love the G's Steve: I don't think you could drift very well on nitto's........maybe Bob Jane allrounders
