  2. ummm, feeds oil to the turbo inlet( pipe between Airflow meter ond turbo)?? Is that what you mean?

Hey West, sorry about the late reply just did a 14 hour day not to mention the rest of the week...anyway the hose you need to block is between the rocker cover and intake plenum it is plumbed into the side of the rockercover and is about the same diameter as five cent coin. It is about level with the fuel pressure regulator and is 'S' shaped. You will find a valve were the hose connects to the rocker cover which needs to be blocked. A screw the same size as used for your speaker is a perfect fit. The valve closes when the engine is on boost so your catch can only is working when you have + pressure. Also idle will be upset untill the valve is blocked as the engine can suck air through this hose and through the catch can filter without the airflow meter seeing it.....which upsets your mixtures.

  5. I noticed it has a split pulse design on the exhaust side which should help spool-up

  11. That's what I thought, only would make sense if the cam was aftermarket. SATO GTS I have an adj exhaust wheel. How would that help the VCT on the inlet side of things??
  12. Not sure how much they are new, I paid $320 the pair in almost new condition. I am making 266rwkw (as per my sign block) which was giving me instant wheel spin in second and third just with acceleration on 275's
  13. Great cornering wise to, as you would expect with 35 series rubber. Treadwear is 300....what ever that means????
  14. Fitted some Nitto NT555 Extreme ZR 255 35 18 tyres today. I am absolutely blown away with the traction these tyres have given me. I can only just spin the tyres in first( not slipping the clutch ) and every other gear is TRACTION CITY. To give you an idea on why my excitment has reached such a pinical. I recenly purchased some 18 inch AVS mags that came with some 275 Dunlop LE MANS fitted to the back. I have had these tyres before and haven't gained much respect for them. Fistly upon measurement they showed there true colours and proved to be only 245 wide....what a crock!!! I had megga wheel spin in 1st, 2nd and sometimes third. This lead to almost new tyres lasting 6 weeks..... So after I turned them to slicks I went down to JMS were I confronted DENZO. " I want some tyres that will actualy grip" After parting with $320, I left with a pair of semi-slick AVS( Yokohama ) 245 40 18's. As Denzo said "these will give you sick traction or I'll give you your money back"! I left with high hopes. After having the tyres fitted.....and one rim scratched grrrrrr, I left. Well after almost putting my car into a gutter going around a roundabout ,with 0% throttle. I figured something was amiss. I confrounted Denzo with my ice skatting antics......"they need more heat!, do a burnout and give them ago" I found a side road and proceeded to warm them up. Yep he was right, I had sight wheelspin in second only. BUT what a joke, any other time apart from straight after a burnout they gripped like...........hmmmn slipped like I had just driven through an oil patch. I returned to JMS with the news,( didn't believe me at first when I said I was getting wheel spin in 4th) and Danni agreed to source some more tyres. To my delight he showed me round the back the next day to some practicaly new Nitto's.....he even paid for the fitting !! If that wasn't enough to put me in a good mood, they stick to the road like Sh!t to a blanket !!!!! I have had 23 cars most turbo, and have never ever come across tyres this good.

  16. 7000rpm 253kw 6500rpm 250kw 6000rpm 245kw 5500rpm 227kw 5000rpm 220kw 4500rpm 191kw Average= 231kw This is my Hybrid VG30, still going strong with the ceramic wheel and T04 Vtrim comp. This turbo is not yet totally sorted as it will surge in 4th and 5th. Boost must come on after 4000rpm to eliminate surge, I am currently controlling it by dual stage boost controll which automatically switches from 11 to 14psi at 4000rpm. How long it will last is another issue, been running with it for a few months now. Happy with the $350 outlay so far. Heard alot of good things about GCG. Big outlay tho ,but, just the same as buying a brand new turbo....which is cheaper than any HKS, APEX, TRUST etc.

  18. I had a partican and lid with a cold air feed. Mick from Tilbrooks said any boxes with less than a 4 inch feed are useless!! "I said no way dude" So we gutted my box and the the car made an extra 10rwkw !!! hehe opps
  19. Your turbo WILL boost over 15.7 , probably 20-25psi. But ur engine and turbo won't last long. Any more boost with the standard intercooler and computer won't make any more power.
  20. The turbo WILL boost more if you adjust the boost controller! When you refer to "low and high" settings, it is either one or the other. So if you have it set on high.....15.7 is pretty close to 1.2bar. The EVC should be reset every time you perform a mod. I have found my HKS EVC4 needed to re-learn after every mod or the boost levels changed.

  22. They will make more power , but, you will find boost would have to be bought on later to eliminate surge.

    so the idle up valve doesn't see positive pressure ? I have noticed my car idles better when driving without boostin.......interesting
