  3. NGK BP7ES or something like that its the 7 that makes the difference. gapped to .7mm also. ( probably try gapping down ur own plugs first)
  4. Of course they do computer remapping.....
  5. Turbo Tune would be my pick also, John Keen has leagues of experience on any of the other tuners mentioned above. -He has built and tuned V8 super cars for the last ten 10 years. -He will happily provide warrenty on the Cars he Dyno tunes!!( I don't know a single other tuner who will back up there work like that) -The Dyno he uses is the newest and most accuate hands down in Adelaide(2WD + 4WD) It has sperate cell correction which means that no matter the temp or realative humidity you will always get the same power reading. Yes other tuners might get more power from your car however how long it will last is another story, and when it does go bang.....do you think they will say" no prob, it's under warrenty"
  6. I was under the impression R34 had a plastic compressor also. I think the better the intercooling the higher boost that can be run safetly. Most turbo failures I have seen and experienced come from very high speed 105,000 rpm plus and also the onset of detenation which causes the turbine to unbalance, touch the exhaust housing and snap off the shaft. Extra heat in the exhaust housing causes the metal to expand and reduce to turbine to housing tolerance. I am under the impression boring out the turbine housing slightly(0.5mm) will vastly improve reliablity and only slightly increase lag. I haven't seen any actually come un-glued as some people put it.
  7. I`ll ask Terry again when I see him.
  8. Steve; I asked JMS that a while ago and they looked at me like I was daft. Said that rumour has no weight.
  9. 5.115v same as the RB just takes more air to get there.
  10. My A/F meter maxes out from 10psi onward, so if I have it tuned for 17psi and flick back to 10psi it is ultra rich cause its still reading from the same map points. I can justify a new AFM for this reason.
  11. has anyone had any experience installing a NA RB25 cam Into a DET?? And real info would be good.

  16. Thanks guys, however I am not sure if I will be runnin tomorrow- I haven't been able to sort out my axle trap issue....which is giving me problems whichever tyres Im using. I just bought some 18"s today( same style just bigger ) and they have 275's on the back and I still can't get any traction 1st 2nd and sometimes third =( My mixtures were on the lean side @ 19psi but my stock injecters were able to cope with adjustments to the map. I didn't make much more power with the boost increase because of my small Vg30 turbine, so I'm off to get the turbine housing bored out next week. No detenation @ 19psi...the larger A/R of the VG30 exhaust housing helps alot.(less heat). Hope to see you guys down there none the less M@
