  2. Just got my high flow back and installed on my rb25. Problem is when boost reaches its preset max it pulsates up and down at a fast rate 1-2psi. It Is fine untill it reaches full boost. I've been told it isn't surge because it only happens after full boost...is this correct. Stronger waste gate actuator needed???? pls help.
  3. Yes they are different, this is a bb VG30. The RB25 compressor will make more power.

  6. If you bought the rb25 compressor you would have to machine your housing($50) The VG30 comp and housing would totally bolt on but make 10kw or so less. You will pick up between 20kw - 50kw depending on your tuning, mods and boost. I have made 225rwkw with the RB25 compressor. Depending on the A/R exhaust housing difference between your current turbo and an RB25 turbo you could estimate lag and power differences. Any of these wheels will make give you a large power increase.

  8. I use the greddy tube and fin model 28c- results speak for them selves.
  9. I had no improvement at all, must be a bigger restriction b4 the dump...probably the .6 A/R rb25 exhaust housing.
  10. to3g???? whats size are the wheels. rule of thumb 48mm compressor top will get you past 200rwkw
  11. upgrade the fuel pump and ECU and you'll get there with no trouble
  12. cobalt drill bit 5/32 size and a number 3 easy out. Probably have to pull the turbo off to do it. There might not be room to get the drill in. Get some penatrating spray and it will probably come out when you start drilling(good stuff)

    Clean it with carbie cleaner, re-install it an adjust with the plug disconnected- if you don't the computer counter adjusts. adjust for what ever you car is idling at normally--hence when you re-connect the plug the idle doesn't change.
  14. Joel They cost 1 buck each from nissan and ATS -Adelaide Turbo Sevices are building a VG30 high flow for me.

  16. Joel: thats correct, the noise was found to be coming from the Exhaust to head gasket because of four broken studs.

  18. The front cover turned out to be stock aswell, I originally thought it was a VG30 item but that would mean it would be smaller than the RB25. The turbo is still running fine after two and a half years( with a greddy cooler which I think increases its life) I am having it rebuilt because a friend of mine was helping me pull it to bits and snapped my turbine off the shaft with a badly aimed hammer....=( Rebuild specs b4 u ask are compressor- T04B V trim top 52mm major 72mm VG30 .7 A/R exhaust housing and turbine
