  1. PFC FAQ is wrong, its definately New lag time - old lag time. so +.33 for my 800cc 1.10msec
  2. Can u please correct this, had me confused for hours
  3. least there will be no chance of any battle damage, 111 only are only built for ex's aren't they
  4. I've just done a basic road tune. injector lag is set to +32, and correction 55%. AFM correction however has been changed so at idle is 50% which quickly changes to 115% after 1.5v on the AFM's.....very strange. I also changed the correction values for voltage standard injectors are .772 @ 14v so I calculated the % change at each voltage and input the values for 1.10msec injectors. I've also halved the accel enrichment which seems to run well. Car runs 1.8bar nicely with very stable AFR and very low knock.....just have to get some more spark...I think my plugs are already at .6mm ...damn it, lol
  5. Quote "SARD 800cc twin hole Injector- 55% (444/800) and Lantency- +0.33 (1.10-0.77)" Are these the correct settings, I have just installed some. going by the PFC FAQ .77-1.10 = minus .33 ?????
  6. A small turbo and or retarded timing.....
  7. I current have some PONCAMs that I have been considering upgrading to PROCAMs. What is involved to fit the 10.25 lift cams...? I was under the impression the head had to be grinded slightly to fit...which can be done with the head on? Do the PROCAMs run a standard base circle? I also have standard valve springs with oversize valves. Cheers Matty
  8. I agree the spring is quite hard, however is well suited to a AFM. I have had no stalling/leaking issues at all.
  9. I have two fake greddy bov's on my GTR and they are bloody fantastic...worth a look.
  10. I have an R33 4 door with an RB26DETT which runs a standard GTR system and 244rwkw through an auto with a high stall I also have a R33 GTR with a 3.5" exhaust that had a resonator that reduced to 2.3" inside and it made 380rwkw. I removed the resonator and it made no more power...... The main restriction is in the cat...the rest of the system doesn't have much effect at street power levels.....
  11. I had the same issue, turned out to be a leaky head gasket. I diagnosed by removing all the plugs after It was sitting for a while(hot) and turned it over. A jet of coolant from No.6 told the story.......
  12. I had the same issue, I replaced the center muffler with a true 3.5" in-out dog leg oval geine(spelling?) muffler. I kept my cannon at the back. Is very quiet with a small note....no droan like before. Windsor Exhaust in Sydney $160 fitted.
  13. Turned out to be a small scratch on the surface of the head between a water gallery and the bore. Head gasket wasn't damaged at all. The copper gasket cement must have kept it sealed until now.
  14. The oringinal settings for the 600cc's on the powerfc were: Injector- 74% (444/600) Latency- +0.4 (0.81-0.77) don't u mean .81-.77=.04 .............maybe double check your input for the 800's
  15. ok, good to know that they actually can let go like a normal gasket
  16. I don't think it was a faulty gasket, it has been in for 10 months. I'm going to check now if I have a snapped head stud
  17. I have recently been experiencing idle issues and also hard starting after sitting when hot. Today it blew a stack of steam out the exhaust so I pressurised the radiator and pulled the plugs. Number six was full of green coolant....to the extent that when I turned the motor over to clear, it shot a stream out so hard it made a neat hole in my bonnet underlay. What confuses me is how a trust metal head gasket could let go?? would it be more likely a crack in the head or block? I did notice some small cracks around the head stud and water jacket holes in the block after getting it bored out. Advan told me this wasn't an issue and the N1 blocks are the only ones that don't do it. Has anyone had a similar problem with a metal head gasket?? I'll let you know what it was when I remove the head, but that might not be for a couple of weeks. cheers Matt
  18. windsor exhaust in sydney do custom mufflers
  19. uneven flow doesn't cause substantial problems until u reach 700hp. The nismo plenum only give a 1.5% increase in torque and the same sort of figure to even the runners.... I chose against it.
  20. All 24 valves will be bent, valve guilds will be cracked on at least half. pistons will be ok as long as a valve head hasn't broken off. I had the same thing, broken idler pully bolt tho..was doing 10km per hour
  21. I had to remove a coupler from the oil inlet on my hks turbos to fit the garretts up, not sure if this is the norm...
