  1. ARC, end of story. You can't buy a better performing cooler period. I went from Trust to ARC of the same size and the ARC just romps away in every way. 600x300x70 380rwkw gt2530's. From the knife edged inlet channels to the flow through design to aid radiator cooling... My car overheated before...not now. I also picked up 300rpm less lag, bolt on.
  2. I recently changed from a Trust frontmount to an ARC item on my GTR. this change transformed my car...It makes more power at less boost and decreased lag by 300rpm....very noticable. I will never buy another brand intercooler...obviously price reflects quality however. Have a close look at there design....especialy the inlet side to the core's.

  6. Yep the are 100% ball bearing so these housings will bolt up to a std rb25 turbo if required
  7. I have a pair of HKS GT2530's forsale. Made 380rwkw at 22psi One is in as new condition, no shaft play (was rebuilt and stamped earlier this year by GCG) The other has worn bearings which in turn has slightly damaged the turbine, housings and compressor are ok. Includes a pair of Adjustable HKS actuators PM or 0413023669 Matt
  8. my CP's are at 2thou. Had the motor apart and no evidance of pickup on the bore. ADVAN bored(recommendation)
  9. Can't remember, I think it was 150psi. I do remember the variance only being 1psi across all 6.

  11. I can confirm they will fit a RB25. They have the rare .6A/R turbine housing..very hard to get. They respond better to high flowing, making upwards of 270rwkw. They also have a thicker shaft which is safer at higher boost than the 25 turbo

  15. What max power has been seen from the -5's??? I gather I could buy them without exhuast housings and bolt up to my HKS ones

  17. man u guys should really need to read properly before posting, no offence.... A HKS 2530 will cost me $2300 I know I can get a -5 for $1200

  19. all valid points, just to clear a few things up tho. the turbine is damaged meaning it needs a new shaft, mine is a 707160-21 meaning it is an obsolete part. I stated I will be replacing "turbo's" (plural) so no I won't be trying any new sequential setup, lol The -5 is smaller by .5mm than the 2530 so is automatically out for me. The turbo was on its way out already however I will definitely check the oil feed, from what i can see 22psi with above average shaft play caused imbalance and excessive wear A single 2530 will cost me $2300, I would rather sell my new 2530 and the housings from the stuffed turbo to purchase and improved set. I am very very keen on the Apexi AX series, I have seen very good results on every car they were fitted. 1 bar ~400rpm earlier than a 2530 and 60ps more at the same boost. The AIRICK design is far advanced over HKS. The same compressor size is more efficient- more flow and less heat. Nengun are adding them to there catalogue for me.
  20. One of my HKS 2530's crapped out so in need of some replacement turbo's as I can't rebuilt my single turbo due to the turbine being damaged...unfortunatey the other one is brand new. I have seen very good reports on the Apexi AX series with p21 housing, which is said to have less lag than 2530's and make more power at less boost. I haven't seen any results of the GTRS apart from on a 2.8ltr Can anyone shed some light on these...
