    No offence, but are you sure that's an R34 stock IC? Looks like a R33 cooler to me. EDIT: In fact, I'm not even sure what that is... the angle on the horizonal pipe seems to be wrong. Here's the one I bought from Lindsey34, compared to a stock r33 cooler (which is the bottom one):

    Ack, sorry, forgot to reply to this. I went through bank of queensland, for an unsecured loan... they just gave me the cash, I paid out the rest of my existing car loan ($3k), then rang Geoff and went from there. I don't know what finance companies are like syd for that sort of stuff, but sinec you're currently looking for an R34, I'd say you did okay.

    Yeah, roughly around 180rwkw... maybe a bit less, maybe a teeny bit more... Let us know what the quality of the FMIC kit is like... $850 has to be the cheapest I've seen for a full kit.

    With a podfilter, full zorst and nothing else, mine did 149rwkw... nothing special, but it's the average figure for those mods, look at Knore's...

    Interesting... generally the anecdotal evidence is the other way around, bigger gains for gears than the FMIC... weird.

    Your cam gears are giving you the most increase in power there, Robo. An FMIC by itself is generally going to give you an extra 10-15kw...

    Perhaps the dyno is a little bit overzealous... my car with full zorst and air pod managed 149.2rwkw on a cold day with a tank of Ultimate, in shootout... car was tiptop, no other issues... and a @40rwkw gain from an FMIC sounds huge... Either the dyno is out, or there's something in your car that you don't know about.

    This is great, really getting a feel for 'everyday' japan. Rezz, what's the deal with yamambas? Are they drugged up or just weird?
