  1. Oooooh... *slaps forehead* Well, now I know, ta.
  2. Well, my (self-admittedly naive) plan was to get a new ECU to get the engine as in tune as possible, with a good air/fuel mix... then I'd start organizing a front mount, up'ing the boost, etc.
  3. Hi guys, First time caller, longtime lurker. I've just bought a '94 R33, which is sitting in Osaka, but I'm already planning what I want to do with it, and I have a couple of questions: - What's an FMIC? Fuel Management Integrated Chip? - If so, is that what a PowerFC does (in addition to everything else it does)? - Are there many/any places in Brisbane that are capable of tuning a PowerFC well? Er... I'm sure I'll think of other questions later, so I'll add them as I go. cheers Sciby.
  4. Naive question, but explain double-clutching to me.
  5. Xector, excellent information, love your work. Hype, good to see you admitted that you weren't being completely non-dickhead-like. Hope it works out for the best. Chalk this one up to experience.
  6. This would be heard a lot in that case.
  7. I'd be interested in showing up... after about mid-August though. Very hard to dyno a car that's either in Osaka or on a boat in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.

Hey Jay, Yup, still doing the OCAU thing, but I haven't done news posts for ages. Typing all that out gets very boring after a while. I mainly write articles now, but I still administrate the forums and irc channel as well. Was rather surprised to be recognised on here via OCAU.

Just an update, for anyone who cares... I finally got my dirty little hands on an R33 GTS25t over the weekend. It's sitting in Osaka at the moment, but should be in Bris on the 5th of August and in my dirty little hands about two weeks after that.

Name: Scott, but literally everyone calls me Sciby, including my 2 year old godson and before you ask, it's pronounced "Sky-bee". Age: 27. Location: Central Queensland. Car: Don't ask what I drive now, but just had a loan approved, so I'm about to hunt down an R33. Occupation: Sysadmin (professional geek) at the same place as Squizz. No doubt will meet some/all of you when I finally get the new car.
