  5. hmm.. just thinking... when you wire the subs in series first then bridge the amplifier. When the subs are wired in series they create an 8OHM load. However when the amp is then bridged the amplifier will see half of the presented load which would be 4 OHM's?? correct in incorrect?
  6. thats what i thought. couldnt remember what 4 ohm + 4ohm in parallel gives... will wire them up to a channel each. cheers chris.
  7. Hi there. i just have a query and was wondering if you could help me out? i just purchased a pair of MTX Thunder4000 4ohm subs. i have an amp with the following specs: • Power / channel @ 4ohm 14.4V: 150WRMS x 2 • Power / channel @ 2ohm 14.4V: 255WRMS x 2 • Power / bridged @ 4ohm 14.4V: 500WRMS x 1 what is the best way to wire the subs? in parallel with the amp bridged or simply wire one sub up to each channel? any help would be great. ur website suggest just to wire one sub per channel. but this will give appx 150wrms to each sub.. can i wire them in parallel and give them the bigger amount of power? cheers in advance!!

  20. something like this... me and a bunch of mates went summadayze 2006 like this... would love to be at the cricket, but alas, il be in byron bay..
  21. what about some sort or SAU type 'embassy' set up on the lawns of old parliament house..protesting to rights of import drivers!
  22. plus u take into account the problems that will arise by DIY and the tools u need ans skinned knuckles.. $250 is good...
  23. CAPS LOCK IMPLIES YOUR REALLY ANGRY what an injustice, it must be cos u drive an import and theyve programmed the cameras to target imports now....
  24. mate your on your p's, driving a bright coloued turbo import, living in an area where the cops a renowned for being harsh on 'hoons'.. i agree with what everyone else is telling you. i live not too far from eltham (doncaster) and ive been driving my 'boring' burgundy 32 round for 2 years and ive NEVER (touch wood) been pulled over in it.. its just the luck of the draw and with all teh recent media attention the scene has been receiveing im not surpised a bright yellow turbo import being driven by a pplater got pulled over.. its all part and parcel with car ownership mate
