  2. well there u go.. my car was once a gts and has been speccd up to being a gts-t... weird...
  3. well im thinking its being changed cos the rear sticker (which has been removed but still has the residue) seems to only say gts il pm u my vin now thanks mate
  4. ok guys... i just want to confirm that all 32 gts-t's have some sort of a stock factory boost guage? below is a pic of my dash but my car is a turbo... im consufed...
  5. ive been thinking of gettin a hybrid kit, but at this price these seem pretty attractive.. how do these compare to the hybrid stuff? does anyone have any experience with them?
  6. fuel filter?
  7. off topic.. but do all 32's have a stock boost guage?
  8. did u check u didnt overfill too? when i bought my car it had a rough idle and hesitation when cold. i did al the fluids and had abt 1.5l too much oil in it from the4 previous owner
  9. arh32 do u have the pt number? i have a mate who is gonna do it for me. just need to get the part myself cheers
  10. ok, last night i was driving home (barefoot) and i noticed the clutch pedal seemed very slippery.. i had a quick look when i got into the driveway and noticed there is oily fluid coming from the firewall where the clutch pedal goes... whats wrong here? sorry im not too technically minded, just need to no what sort of $$ im looking at to fix it james
  11. did mine over the weekend and there are 3 bolts from underneath and the advesive tape and 2 plastic clips (which are only on the middle section of the wing) These clips just snapped off when i did mine (but were stubborn).. another trick which i used was to break the seal of the tape using some fishing line. and as BSK said, removing the residue from the tape etc is a right pain in the arse.. on a side note, what have people used to block up the holes left? ive just used some tape for now (as il get it filled and painted eventually). but i havnt driven n the rain yet.. i was thinking some sort of rubber grommet?
  12. i have a similar thing, but its only noticeable when at speed (like 50+) around sweeping left corners
  13. its the same car (same engine etc) as a corolla. i used to own a corolla sx.. they are reliable cheap and in the face of current fuel prices they are CHEAP to run!! for heaps of info etc go to the twincam forums: http://www.twincam.org/forums/
  14. you'll find the fronts are actually an oval size, could be 4*6' i think, do a search as for the fronts you'll need to cut an mdf baffle to mount other sizes
  15. correct.. glad its all fixed now... did a thorough check of the other front pad to make sure they both werent on incorrectly..
  16. no, the pads were just around the wrong way , with the outside pad being on the inside of the disc and vice-versa.. makes me wonder abt other work that may have been done on the car with such errors... touch wood...
  17. ok.. think ive nutted it out by looking at it... that pad was on the outside of the disc, when it should be the inside pad... whoever did the pads b4 i bought the car must have had it in the wrong way... does that look/seem right... ive swapped them round and all seems good.. wouldnt mind confirmation tho..
  18. hi guys... noticed this yesterday when slowing from abt 80-0 along hoddle st in melb... there was waht sounds like the usual 'low pad' metal on metal scraping sound comin ffrom my front left brake.. had a look this morning and the pad seems like it has heaps of meat still left, so i pulled the wheel off and took a closer look.. see the photos.. the pad is rubbing on the hub... is this supposed to be happenin or is somethin loose
  19. wtf?
  20. my old flat mate used to own a fairly powerful (abt 180kw at the wheels) rs liberty, he lost his license so it became my daily drive for a while.. i now own an r32 with the same power, and have driven both on a daily basis... the rs seems to have a little more down low (but again this is because of turbo choice on the rs)... drivetrain is an issue with gbox strenght being a downside of the rs, but again it can be overcome. the ej's top mount cooler suffers a bit with heatsoak, esp with the hotter days, but again can be overcome... they both seem to have a fairly high lifespan
  21. can anyone tell me how much for an rb20.. doing my first oil change tomoro
  22. RCEBNR

  23. hi guys... ive just noticed that my front bumper has snapped off near the front right wheel arch. see the pic easily repairable? front_crack.bmp
