  10. stupid question, but will pressure vary b/w oil? i just changed my oil from a motul 4100 turbolite 10w-40 to motul 8100 xcess 5w-40 and ive noticed a pressure drop once the oil is warm. Previously it would sit close to 4 on the guage and no it doesnt rise above 2 once warm.. should i get a different oil? engine is an rb20det btw
  11. sorry dude, not that desperate for space..
  12. oh, and no it wasnt the only reason i changed it, mine started making god awful noises and my lights started flashing and powersteering went bye bye..
  13. i had a reco'd unit installed by the repco service centre near my work for 360odd with a 12 month warranty. my car has always had cold starty probs and ive put it down to the fact (what the previous owner told me) the car having a bigger afm (from an rb25 i think)... new alternator has fixed all my probs with start ups
  14. dont no if its right in your case, but ive had similar probs, and i just got a new alternator and now all my cold starting probs have been eliminated..
  15. common for them to leak from behind the waterpump itself and its hard to see.. coming up to summer ur best to get the cooling sorted..
  16. correction.. i meant it looks trimmed, not removed.. sorry they were crappy photos.. i took my bar off yesterday and it appears the reo has been trimmed, as have my fan blades, but strangely there is no hole under the battery.. must have had some form of cooler on it in a past life.. guess it just makes my installation a bit easier in the coming weeks..
  17. hi guys.... just doing some research on FMIC's and ive been having a geez around my engine bay and it seems like my car doesnt have any reinforcement behind the bar.. can anyone pic this up in these pics?
